more proof Godaddy has more money than know what to so with. When virus fizzles, it will be worthless.

As the article I wrote states, GoDaddy bought it as part of the Uniregistry portfolio acquisition. The company did not choose this particular domain name to purchase individually.

Thank you for clarifying! i’m of firm belief this is the epitome of “fad” Sorry elliot! title misleading

Change; “acquired as part of Uni portfolio”

Seems people think Corona will end up like the 1919 Spanish flu... I laugh at corona domains,
if you’re trying to profit off this..

this is the worst trend of 2020 and Corona domains give us a bad a name if trying to flip.
It comes to no surprise, Godaddy is trying to make themselves look like they have a heart.
am cynical, unless gd give domain WHO, CDC

after virus, Couldnt Corona beer file UDRP?
Elliot? Sorry, precarious name (Scared, beer)

That's true Samer, focus to scale our capability in domaining is more important than doing what we never know

If that is true, then nice effort from GoDaddy!

As for CoronaVirus, my sense is that the fear factor is more significant than the epidemiological risk.

Petru is in Romania, along with our team member @Zayto. He is also building the first WHMCS deployment of Epik, which is staged here:

https://epik.com.ro/

So he has a local role, and a broader role.

And while his english is not fluent but it is probably better than your Romanian or mine.

I update my status , just forgot to mention from start

I agree. people are in fear of Coronavirus for no reason in my opinion. a regular flu is more dangerous than that. probably the US government trying to make people afraid to harm China's economics :)

Regarding the virus, waiting for the moment we all hear it has a treatment or some hope towards eradication.

They will do , this is intention , the seed of fear was introduced to the people :xf.wink:
"The Lombard autonomy referendum of 2017 took place on 22 October in Lombardy, Italy"
Just a example to be delicate . Strange they did no't find until now patient 0 in Italy - LOL (maybe is a pangolin :woot: )
So my advice - let's focus on domain names business

tbh, we had all better hope that coronavirus.com becomes worthless...

why? because of it DOESN'T become worthless, that can only mean the world never got over the outbreak...
