Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I'll give it a wide berth. Time to stay off this forum for a while. To many people giving out misinformation and bigging sh*t up.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

This site should be moderated better. Read a post on here yesterday about Domaining myths and it was nothing but people arguing off topic.

Gonna give this place a rest for a bit. Dont get me wrong theres loads of great advice on here, but a lot of misinformed advice too.

well. its true people argue here too.. but people argue everywhere. its what people do. its human to argue and have different opinions.

the more important thing is that np overall remains THE #1 tool for new domainers... it helped countless domainers in countless ways... without np, the road to learning and eventual success woudl be that just much longer.. and in many ways, maybe even impossible.

all the best... and much domaining success in future techs like VR and other similar ones. cheers.

Thanks alcy. I agree this site is like gold for info. Just a newbie here venting a bit of frustration. Patience is key lol.

In case you or someobody else want some entry in this space. I have ***CamsVR.com (2015-03-11) and i will drop it... have already VRCam***.com and i can let the dropping domain go for $15... friendly price... just some bucks for some older domain with popular keywords. Better to let you folks know before someone from asia (mass backorders for good dropping domains NameSilo) will reg it lol. Bitcoin accepted and preferred.

so while awaiting the future of VR and more sales... and keep motivation going (jk.. I know we don't need it hahha).. I decided to create new sales thread where we list and discuss VR domain sales... those that happened so far in the past... and the ones that will be happening in future.. I know we post sales here.. but its hard to find in all the pages here.. so just repost them on new thread if you want to join and participate...

im sure this thread will give some learning experience to newer VR members... so they know what sells.. a lot of sales will be reposts of what you already saw here... but im sure there will be new things you see there too... cause like I said a lot of stuff just got burried here in other pages...

If the coronavirus is going to basically kill global travel for a while, it should be a boom to VR. Users will be able to sit in our houses and travel the world.....when more content is created.

VR1G2U3R4U is premium listed on SquadHelp. If any of you have decent names on SH like this, do yourself a favor and list them on DAN or Epik, etc. There's no sense in giving SH 30% commission on a name that the buyer likely will have typed in.

I own VRGurus in .org One inquiry so far at Dan.

:) if it won't sell within next 2 weeks I will park it somewhere else where the sale fee is as low as possible.

How virtual reality is changing the live music experience

https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/27/tech/vr-live-music-intl/index.html

One challenge for companies streaming concerts is that the market for dedicated VR headsets remains relatively small. Tech market researcher ABI Research predicts the VR market will surpass $24.5 billion in revenues by 2024, while acknowledging that "VR has yet to live up to its early expectations." For comparison, the global games market was worth around $149 billion in 2019, according to market intelligence firm Newzoo.

But some analysts see a brighter future. Scott Buchholz, Deloitte's emerging tech research director, told CNN Business that "[The VR market] is likely to continue to grow, particularly as we see an increasing convergence of AR and VR gear, as well as prices continuing to drop and capabilities continuing to rise,"
