Gambling domains are just crazy priced - I suppose it’s inline with the pay per click costs.

Interested to watch where it all lands as I have some great gambling domains never sure whether to target or to wait on them. To be honest I dropped betting gambling keyword domains years back and kept bet and casino only.

The pluralisation of domains is somewhat an anomaly in terms of its expression,but singularly may not stand up without the ‘s
For example take the word tree.com in terms of value ($350K) against trees.com ($450K) there would be in my opinion be a market variation of around $100K for the plural domain being trees.com
Then if you compare a domain I just happen to own called Pinup.com and Pinups.com
Whilst Pinup.com would realistically get appraisals for around $300K it’s plural Pinups.com would only be 50% say $150K of the singular domain.
The real meaning of more than one does vary, but the equation in math really doesn’t for those who carry out due diligence that includes not only ‘traffic’ but grammatical factors of common speech with a bottom line of public use will give the edge in value.
Anyway, sorry to go on for so long but hope you were able to pickup some info that had taken myself 20 years to learn.

Nothing much has changed in Domain Sales News over the past 20 years.
With respect to the prices paid always sends a small tsunami to domain holders interest of lining up their own stocks for a possible rise in the value.

I will keep this short as have to go out shortly but if you go through everyone of the top 20 domains that we’re sold in the Sedo auction/sales that included bettingtips.com and you will not find another single domain listed with anywhere near the same generic factors or value in the common English language.
I remember so well in my first 5 years of domain acquisition that I fell into the biggest trap (that still happens today with more so less experienced) I must have registered at least 500 domains that only made sense to myself.
Then a few years later just like a garage sale I like others would have a ‘fire sale’ and be lucky to get our registration price it just go into the Drop Bin.
There is no better valued domain on the global market today than an aged generic .com short word describing word that is commonly used in the English speaking countries around the globe.

Interesting sale @ 150k , the only reason i say that is because "Tips" , Tips pointing to advice or opinion, these types of domains don't usually fetch 6 figure sales , it will be interesting to see what the buyer does with the name.

As @Samer posted, the "ing" endings aren't fast sale names, it seems end users usually view them as their 3rd choice of the exact name they are interested in.

That is a very sale for the seller. I am thinking 35K to 50K max value for it IMO

It comes across high because it is 2 words that generally lessens the value because if commonality and popularity of speech.

if I was a betting man ( excuse the pun) I would bet my right armpit on the new owners having already started a website development,they are putting together for a unique business around gambling that economically becomes a small cost of ‘branding’ their business identity.

Nice sale if true, but there is no info of this name selling for that on NameBio or Google.

Also Files/Coins/Plants/Tokens/Leads/Taxes/Crystals/Links (all .com) and Casinos.org have all sold for 6 and 7 figures in the past 12 months.
