iQiyi (爱奇艺) is listed on Nasdaq. In terms of branding, the name is slightly difficult to remember because i Qi Yi is not perfectly Pinyin. The Pinyin name could have been Ai Qi Yi. IQ.com is 2L which is favorite upgrade by Chinese companies, such as JD.com, BL.com, XC.com, Le.com, and many more. Rebranding to IQ may be coming. IQ is better than iQiyi as a global brand, imo.

I can't believe they got salesforce to give up this name, could not have come cheap for sure. Great buy, and they love that Q in that marketplace. Salesforce has a $163B market cap, so you really need to get their attention in order to acquire from them.

I would think it would be 7 figures at least, so hopefully it gets disclosed in their financials. Salesforce has always had a good domain strategy, and own some great names.

Salesforce is shutting down SalesforceIQ which is the main reason why the IQ.com domain was acquired in 2014.

I guess FMA's AI.com is the next target for someone. Saw looks like they are ready to start moving that portfolio.

a beautiful name IQ.com , a great acquisition at whatever price they paid, which i agree had to have been several millions to get it, they will make their money back fairly quick though IMO

iqiyi 's parent company Baidu has bad reputation,most people in china hate it, it owns 91.com kk.com , but so what ~~~ Baidu run its subsidiary worse everyday

Considering the size of both companies and the quality of the two letter. Com it must have sold for in excess of $10m+
