I've been registering .co.uk domains for a bit now. never was any issue as far as having the whois data show in my account but this one transfer ended up showing this in the whois today. What gives?

Agreed. That's the way to go when in doubt and dealing with ccTLDs you're not all that familiar with.

That's why NP is a great resource! Ask and thy shall learn :)
