I'd be interested in hearing what the community think said domain would be worth, PayCrypto.com.
Godaddys appraisal tool said 13,600, and saw that domains like paychain.com sold for 25,000 and some listed at Sedo etc for prices over 10k, which are worse domain names.

Any help appreciated.

In a few years time, this domain will be worth much more than current price valuations.
As crypto currency enters further into the financial mainstream, you will notice many conventional financial/ Fintech and other Tech organisations rolling out solutions via crypto based models.

I work in the financial sector, which touches Fintech/Crypto and other emerging models of value transfer; and I am already seeing this trend picking up slowly but steadily.

A domain name like PayCrypto, will certainly create some interest ,as further options to pay for services, utilities, mortgages etc via cryptocurrencies keep increasing.

All the best with this domain.

Yes, that is also what I believe. Thanks, JPX1. I've worked myself a bit with cypto solutions, bitcoin payments and blockchain. I believe that the sector will grow quite a bit in the next 2-3 years, especially when considering all tokenization efforts, and even governments starting to adapt to the sphere more.

Do you own the domain? If you do, or even if you don't, this is going to be HUGE!

Probably around the mid $xx,xxx part. I'd recommend to use a lander that also accepts crypto for such a name.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated! I thought myself 25k range would be what it could retail for. And yes, to the reply from Drongy, I accepted crypto for about 8 years. The domain was hand registered, as I thought crypto would be big already at the very early days. Its quite good now, but noth the hysteria of late 2017, if i sold it then i could have gotten a boatload in bitcoins for it.

PayCrypto.com is a unique one of a kind domain. Everybody has settled on excellent two words as being 25k. Think about the domain you have. All businesses are going to adapt to taking our crypto money. Companies will change to the employees desire to be paid how they want their paychecks. You have a gold mine here. I wouldnt sell not til it is a $1000000 obvious purchase sir. With crypto rising all the time in every aspect of our life it will become a second nature to just own PayCrypto.com. That is when you hit and you hit hard with I have what you want and need for your business what can you do for me and my dream. Be a wanted man, a partisan, a farmer, an architect of this domain. By all means, dont just sit on it. ty.

I think you´re sitting on the pure gem here!

Some "comparable" sales:
youpay/com - 200 000$
paystubs/com - 68 750$
goldpay/com- 64 000$
epayments/com - 52 000$
payether/com - 45 000$

I wouldn´t be surprised you reach 6 figures with this awesome name.
Good luck!

Paystubs got 69k? Well, that is impressive. It looks like it will take time to move, but should render some good money to sell paycrypto.com. I considered developing it, but I have projects booked for 2+ years.

Awesome name you got here.. After going through the beginners thread and saw where you made mention of buying the domain during the early days of Cryptocureency.

I said ! Wow ! That's called Domain investing.

Yes, i think i bought it in 2012. Btw, Im an old timer: I wanted to register dot .com domain names back in 1993 (was in university back then), and wanted to register poker.com and casino.com. The registar said no, becuase I wasn't american. HA!. I then missed the boat when it became more public on the big name items, but snapped up many good gambling domain names - and then I actually ran gambling companies for a bit on some of the net proceeds i did selling of a few of them. So wasn't quite a domainer, but more looking at a mix of investment and also for developing. I did also buy some bitcoin back in the early days. Still have some left, so I was either luck or smart. Hope the latter... ;)
