Zac, I'm in the same position. I set up an afternic account and added a domain just to see how their system works. They keep telling me to opt-in to premium, which it seems that I did with GoDaddy, where the domain is registered. They tell me to watch for an email shortly, but its been 3 days and no email, and it still is showing opted-out for premium. I'll keep researching and let you know if I find the solution.

It often depends on registrars, you may get opt-in emails sooner with some, like Godaddy. If it's at a registrar using Network Solutions system, it may take a long time.

to receive the email the domain must not have the 60-day block

As Jean Carlos said above, if you recently registered a domain, it's not yet eligible for fast transfer. This is also the case if you recently transferred the domain between registrars.

But your domain(s) will be eligible for fast transfer once 60 days have passed since registration/transfer. Most likely, that's when you'll get the email that Afternic is talking about.
