I am grateful to all those great minds who are helping me in my journey. Based on the last poll I have scraped all the names keeping the 3 most voted. A lot of you also emphasized keeping the name generic with the room to unimagined growth in the future, which I think is very valid. This time I also kept an option of "None of the above" which I missed last time and activating multiple selections. I see a lot of "DN" DNStore, DNWE, DNFront, and even Epik is going with DNEncrypt and DNProtect so add a few of them. Most of you also suggested being on .com. Keeping that that advice in mind going with all .com this time. Deliberately keeping all small letters so that the meaning comes on this own.

1. outlarge.com
2. dnclap.com
3. dnsplash.com
4. dnreach.com
5. toxicdomains.com
6. brandxis.com
7. netlinko.com
8. nameinvestor.in
9. dnp.xyz
10. shaan.me

7 of them are new rest 3 are the top rated from the earlier post. My current view is limited to a blog as well as an endpoint for showcasing all the domains. Now I am new in the domaining and there are more experienced players who have seen brands evolved from your experience help me out here.

Thanks in advance.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
DNclap
DNslash
DNreach
outlarge i like (idk why, but seems memorable)

would definitely Avoid:
toxicdomains “toxic” negative connotations
.xyz
.me
brand xis is “axis” typo?
netlinko “netlink” typo?

lol really? he can have something until he finds ths list better than last, no typo, and most .com

Many people use “DN” prefix in our industry.
includin ur company, many comin epik pipeline
but i admit all epik DN names more memorable

Dont mind a part 3 but this list is far from trash,
better than “placeholder” IMO, nice choices!

@Abdullah Abdullah wow tough crowd!!

Which one would you choose for your business?

Do you own Shaan Chopra .com? You can use this if that’s your name.

I voted none of above. Take a look at domains for sale here at NamePros for more ideas. Lots of great deals.

Of the names offered, I like in order (assuming global reach):

dnreach.com
dnsplash.com
nameinvestor.in

If you are focusing on .in sales, this is the one to go with.

There is fully, functional; NameInvestors.com which I use daily; for my Whois .com lookups.

Careful, O.co/com situation (.com steals traffic)
limits;especially after you work so hard to grow

Based on my experience, I would suggest you choose a domain with the following criteria:

1. .com
2. incorporate your name ( you might regret it later if you dont)

Based on these two criteria, I would propose the following available for hand reg:

1. ChopraDomains.com
2. ChopDomains.com

There are probably more, but I kind of like chopdomains. It sounds like shopdomains but it incorporates your surname.

By the way, cool last name. :)

IMO

2. ChopDomains.com

Just for fun I checked chopchopdomains.com and it's taken but doesn't resolve. :xf.rolleyes:

I like the personal touch in the portfolio address, so name+domains or surname+domains seems a good match. name+surname.com might be too broad, unless you're a full-time domainer and you don't need any other homepage.

I also like the suggestion that you use your last name + domains.com. Or even first name.

ChopraNames.com available as well.

I wish I had my own name but it's with an end-user.

Yes, I am aware of this issue .com and having almost the same line of domaining. The domain will be crushed.

Of the list I voted for DNSplash but I still believe you should keep looking. Understand that most people outside this industry do not place much value on domain names and thus will register the first thing they find which is available (or just use social media profiles to promote their brand). But if you are going to be in the business of selling premium domains, will be creating a portfolio website and using it in your email communications with potential buyers, my view is your domain should communicate the importance of having a reasonably short and memorable domain for your brand. If not, why should they pay more than $50 for a domain from you?

Find a word+brand dotcom that makes sense and you can put story behind.

i wouldn't use those names.
but at same time.. its less about name.. and more about the domains quality u have for sale... and finding buyers.. or in case of owning quality domains, its more about buyers finding you..... and putting story behind the name as was said here :) i like that. :)

u have to remmeber to be able to put yourself in endusers head... think like he does... and they do not care how you name your domain folio site.. they just want to get the name that they want to get... at the price that suits their budget.

but .. also as was said here beofre.. when u send emails or such.. and use a nice looking name in there... it can have an effect. just not the main one. the main effect is that on your site you own the name hotel.com :) even if your site is called domainsforsale....///xyz

whereas if your domains are crap... then does it really matter if you list them on what may seems like one of the best domain folio name: domains..com

Thanks, guys I think I have closed in two of the name. It's going to be my "firstname"+domains.com or "firstname".domains. Keeping like this I just have to showcase all the domain names here and keep blogging on my personal site as I do. Additionally I wont require a social network as i already have one.
