One word English dictionary domains are well known to be one of the most valuable domain types.
However, what is very seldom talked about is that there are actually over 500,000 words that could realistically be called English dictionary words... This includes around 200,000 root words, their many variations, and also slang and common jargon.
Of these half a million English words, only around 35,000 are known readily to the well read... 20,000 would be closer to the vocabulary of the average American.
And 95% of what gets published online can be mostly understood with a vocabulary of just 3,000 words.
What all of this really means is that the more popular and well known the word.. the more value it has.
When people talk about dictionary domains having value.. they are probably only talking about the top 10,000 words... And maybe even only the top 5,000.
Yours are a good example of the 80% of words that have little to no value.
I know it's not what you want to hear, but you'll be lucky to get any sale at any price over any time span.
I've also made the same mistake before I knew better. I had words equal or better to those and marketed them for $250.. then $150, then $97.. then $47, $37, $27.. and eventually let them expire.
Lesson learned.
