Hello,

What registrars provide option opt out of the 60-day inter-registrar transfer lock?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
They all must provide it according to ICANN policy.

At Dynadot and Namecheap it is opted-out by default.
Epik and name.com have this option in their settings...
etc.

They all must provide it according to ICANN policy.
This policy is called IRTP (Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy).

If some registrar doesn't provide opt-out via user interface or by default - it can be requested from its Support team.

just talked with namecheap support they don't have option opt out inter-registrar transfer lock

I just want to clarify that I need this option for domain transfer, not for registration.

For example: I transfer domain from godaddy->namecheap, after a week later I want transfer this domain from namecheap->enom

Opt-out is applicable only to prevent 60 Day Lock if Registrant data was changed.
For example, after the domain push within current registrar.
And at Namecheap it is opted-out by default.

You can't opt-out from 60 Day Lock after registration or previous transfer.
Each registrar has its own policy to set or not to set this lock.
The domain can be also locked at Registry level, in this case it is displayed as serverTransferProhibited status in WHOIS.

What TLD, .com?
Verisign (Registry) doesn't set 60 Day Lock... and Dynadot doesn't set it as well.
So transfer from GD to Dynadot...

Why do you want to do this? Why can you just transfer from Godaddy to Enom.

Then it is impossible with Afilias TLDs.
60 Day Lock will be set at Registry level, your registrar doesn't matter at all.

What about new registrations at dynadot? Can they be transfered to another registrar?

Try...
It also depends on the gaining registrar... most even can't initiate the transfer for domains below 60 days.

No new registration can be transferred away within 60 days. Even com/net. It is registry restriction. Com/Net domains _transferred_ to registrar X can be immediately transferred to another registrar ( Y ) if the losing registrar (X) so allows. Registrar X has no obligation to allow transfers during 60 days window though.

@tonyk2000
Nowadays no any restrictions, all these locks are optional according to current IRTP.
I had no any problems to transfer the recently regged Donuts domains after ~40 days from 1and1 to LogicBoxes based registrar.
Verisign and Neustar also don't set this archaic lock.
Only Afilias and CentralNic TLDs are locked at Registry level.

Thank you Jurgen for sharing :) It is very interesting, in particular Verisign. Was anybody able to initiate a transfer of a fresh regged com/net?

Still many oldschool registrars... they don't allow you to even initiate such transfer-in below 60 days since RegDate...
Among them: @Dynadot @namesilo

@Rob Monster
Epik also doesn't allow to start the transfer-in under 60 days.

No problems @Dynadot with transfer-out, problems are only with transfer-in.

Very probably, GoDaddy also can't initiate the transfer-in below 60 days.
But recheck... I never transfer to GD...

If you wish to really test Verisign below 60 days - try to transfer recent .com from Dynadot to any LogicBoxes registrar/reseller like WHOIS.COM ($8.88).

We waive the transfer-lock upon request. The requests are rarely declined. With escrow it is always waived. With marketplace it is waived after fraud check.

I'm talking about the domain transfers TO Epik...
Your system can't start it if domain is below 60 days (oldschool behaviour).
