This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

I am fairly new to domaining and its been a great year to learn things.
few of my unreported sales from 2019.. nothing stellar though.

DAN
tax//spy.com 995
time//stall.com 995
nuro//safe.com 500

SEDO
keyword//boss.com 600
yak//pay.com 595
quantum//cloak.com 995

AFTERNIC
excel//equity.com 325
better//health.info 595
bitcoin//disk.com 500
bit//gram.org 500
track//blockchain.com 995
vr//ecstasy.com 500
first//chain.net 250

One thing I have noticed is although, I have all my domains directed to DAN, most of the sales have been on either SEDO or AFTERNIC. But DAN is a great tool to manage domains.
if this is your stats being new, you got great future in domaining i guess.

So are you doing to renew them? That sale should cover most of the renewals, rinse, and repeat, and you need one more similar sale to keep it going, so who is really making the money here, the domainer, or .co? I tend to think the domainer is a very valuable income stream for the registries, one they tend not to respect like a regular repeat customer.

I'm not renewing my .co. I drop them and register again when new discount happens )
BTW right now .co is $1.99 at Name.com

3 Sales from the last 5 days:

Hemisphere -- app
Dan.com, $988, reg fee purchase.

Bronte -- co
Afternic FT, $388, bulk .co promo purchase.

Barre -- co
Dan.com 57 x $99 installments, low .co premium hand-reg. First time using the new Dan installment system, buyer chose to pay a markup over a $4288 BIN offer.

I recently went through my Afternic and Dan accounts to delete all the domains (mostly to purge all the names I no longer own, but also to ensure I'm aware of what everything is priced at and that everything has a consistent BIN). I then re-added my entire portfolio (which has now crossed 2000 names, with about 65% non-renewable promo purchases) and re-priced everything.

Moral of the story: doesn't hurt to purge your accounts and make sure everything you don't own is gone and everything you do is pointed where it needs to be, and priced what you want it to be.
