anyone have good sales for these domain types
did a search on site: ".cc" not many live sites working of .cc one word
valuation tools give good return values for one word keyword but does the .cc extension dilute value

Thoughts or experiences?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I've been forced to drop most of the .cc in my portfolio. No enquiries, talk less of sales. Even for single "worders". I believe a lot of chinese companies use the extension. Not sure.
CC - chinese company
CC - creadit card
CC - country code
CC - crypto currency

No stable identity. It keeps on changing. LOL!

Sold about a half dozen cc over the past 20 years. Got them (i think) the first week they were available in 1997. All one word. Tax -$1100 GD auctions in 2016 bot for reg fee 1997. (And renewed for 20 years from $19 to $39 per year!) sold Domains for 3500 less commission from a newsletter. Again, regged in Nov of 1997 for reg fee. Info 7k only a few years after regging. 123 sold for 5k 10 years ago. What would it go for now?! Still have golf/movies/videos/auction/books/computers

I got an offer for an old .cc name that I use to own for $3X,XXX. Talk about missed opportunities! BBQ you might have been aware then when you had the opportunity to bulk purchase 2 L .cc for quite a cheap price (forgot off the top of my head).

I have never invested in .cc, but considering a few. The pricing trends seem hopeful. It is true that the majority are numbered names for Asian market, but even after you extract at NameBio those that contain numbers, still a good number of sales.

The renewal fees seem reasonable. If doing hand reg the multi year pricing at Dynadot this month is excellent.

Thanks for thread, @Domaindogged.

.cc IMO is a nice cctld, don't have any myself but have never minded seeing them around, nor would be surprised to see an upsurge in them. Cheap to renew. No trustees req'd for ownership. There was a member here awhile back, he was selling example/cc, which is a rarity, for a few hundred. Most extensions have "www" or "example" left-of-the-dot restricted.

Haven't come across any .cc's in real world usage. Don't know what's holding it back, but it's a fine extension as far as I'm concerned, nothing against it. Wonder if it could just come down to semantics, maybe "cc" just doesn't jive with folks?

I think .cc extension is at its best when it adds to the second level domain
see here

Aurora is a construction consultancy (cc) live site

I never see any of these .cc extensions or any others that aren't .com, ccTLDs or.net and I am on the web a lot.
