Hi All.
I'm a total newbie and today is my first day.
I have a few (50+) .com domains that I want to list to sell, a few of which are brandable.
From reading a few threads I got to understand that the best place to list domains are :

Squadhelp
Afternic
Brandbucket
Brandpa (currently waitlisted)

I have three questions:

1) Are there anymore branded domain reseller that give good results?

2) If I have 50 domains to list, which is the first reseller I should submit my domains for approval?

3) If only 10% of the domains are selected, what should be my (order of preference of domain resellers) to list the remaining domains?

Thanks So much,

Nalaso

Dan.com
Sedo.com
Afternic.com

I don’t recommend using” pay” to list “Brandable name sites””

I have sold many at afternic and Dan

WeekNite.com as an example, sold @ Dan.com , incoming arrival buyer.

Domain brokers will search all the markets for “Brandable domain names” to find what their clients wants IMO

if you have any tier 1 names or super premium names, I suggest Uniregistry and use Uni name servers as well

good luck

Welcome to nps!

X above has good info...it is also free to list at epik (there is a commission if a name sells thru their site). Use everywhere that is free to list. If you have a name that you feel is really good, you can put it on the appraisal thread for some input.

Thanks for your reply.

So do you suggest that squadhelp is not recommended or you personally don't prefer using it?

don't recommend using pay means, not listing on "Brandbucket" & Brandpa" type resellers right ?

also, would you know of some link to refer to understand difference between Tier 1 names or Super Premium name or any other type of names?

thanks in advance :)

Thanks @Martin Andrews. Would you recommend a free method or an article to decide the right domain price to list on Afternic

Because All my domains are at or will be transferred to Epik I list all my names there and on Afternic with fast transfer with BIN prices. I also go though once a month and update make offer listing for all my names at Sedo, Dan, and Uniregistry.

Generally a good idea to avoid listing with BIN too many places to avoid it selling though two places at once.

Thanks @Ryan217. I got the gist of what you mean...

Many of my domains are not English words, however they are words minus the vowels and they sound like English words.
I feel these may fall well in the brandable catergory as it’s only 5letter.com domains. Any suggestion to which platform will do justice to such specific domains?

I personally avoid those brandavle marketplaces like Brandbucket. Their commission is much higher than a place like Afternic or Sedo, and the generally require exclusive listings. Also they often make you pay to submit listings with no guarantee they will accept it.

List in marketplaces like
Afternic

Epik etc..

Set a landing page at any of these services

What’s your listing strategy for afternic sales?

At Afternic, I always use Buy It Now only, no real strategy aside from pricing the names fairly.

Are you going off appraisals?
Previous sales? Or stabs in the dark?

I listed some domains at sedo, dan (make offer) and afternic (bin), but the question remains: where to park them? Who has the best (most convincing) landing page? Or should I just use a contact form LP?

I’ve been building my own LPs for too long.
And indexing “heaps” of names into google with a touch of seo is way too time consuming.

But I’ve recently had the privilege to discover @Rob Monster and the team at EPIK. And yes - the name says it all.

So I’m changing things up - and going to be making the most out of their platform.

The landers and marketplace options are real fresh. And it’s just early days for them.

So check them out if you haven’t yet.
Keen to hear your thoughts.

I’ve also looked at Dan and Efty.
But I’m just learning the ropes and a total newbie.

A rookie domainer trying to stop buying, and start managing, listings and optimising what I have before buying more.

Where do you have your name servers all pointing?

Right now, nowhere (registrar's default "coming soon" page). That's why I'm asking. ;)
I'm not interested in parking monetization, just in the best LP for sales.
