Hello folks and spokes. So what is your average number of offers per month on your domain holdings?

Would 30 (one offer per day) be a good number? It would be good to hear what number different folks come up with.

Overall, it would be a good indication of the quality of your domain portfolio.

Offers are worthless, change the title to one SALE a day keeps the doctor away. Would likely need 3-5 daily inquiries to average 1 a day. Probably more though.

If you're making one sale a day, you're probably too busy to be on NP.

You would be busy buying new names. Deliveries are instant. It takes skill to bring offers to the table with a wallet, even if they say they want the domain.

You could get ten of these a day and never make a single sale...

Offers dont mean anything these days. There are so many domainers out there making offers just to "test the waters", most offers dont lead to sales.

You will not find anyone here getting 30 offers a day or even 10 offers a day.

Some dont even disclose offers; “DM only”..

Yeah, but no domainers will get 30 a day on here, thast yo c an be sure of.

I guess by offers, Im talking more about end-users offers as well. I get offers on here for $20 and $50 for a domain worth above $10k, I really dont consider those "offers"

The question is do you average ONE offer per day, not 30 per day.

But whether 1 or 30, if the fish ain't biting, pull in the line.

Yeah, I sell nothing for less than a few K's. So $500 offers go in the trash.

Be ruthless!

I have never gotten one offer a day, if i get 4 "end user" offers per month, that was a great month, domain reseller offers are totally different thing, you can get 20 offers a day from domain name resellers, which amounts to very LOW profits IMO

It depends how many domains you own. If you own 50K domains an offer a day is terrible.
If you own 500 it is pretty impressive.

I would disagree with anyone that says offers are worthless. If you want to passively sell domains that is the starting point to make it happen. It is also a proof of concept that you own domains that interest others.

At the end of the day though sales do matter. Even with the exact same domains and offers, the outcomes can be far different depending on the domain owner and their skill, knowledge, and experience.

that why I think more domainers
wouldn't benefit the community per se
( aka Alexa Ranking of Namepros )

I agree, especially the ones that spam end-users with pretty average names. They start thinking all domain emails are spam.

If i set all of my names to Make Offer, then I'm sure I'd get an offer a day, or close to it. But 95% are going to be low-ball tire-kickers, so f all that.

Not all offers are equal - personally I prefer to have 5k min offer on my names, so WHEN an offer comes, it is always some good start, or at least it has spme potential :)
