advice How much is a domain worth?

I am speaking with a broker about the sale of a domain I am interested in.

I'm interested in it because I think it will go up in value.

It doesn't have a lot of traffic, and might reach 12,000 searches a month.

But the thing is, it's brandable, so it has that going for it too.

How do you know how much a domain is worth?

By the way, I'm thinking of spending a fair bit of money for it, so I want to know if it's worth it.

Yes I gotta agree. The other way around order pricing like that is fair to me. Hard to say it pennyless if subject one exceeded 6 figures. That's just a pity both weren't acquired by same person.

It is very hard to pay attention to any valuation during a negotiation process, you can set your BIN on a domain name at market valuation, but that is very risky to only having window shoppers for your domain, no matter how many valuations you get from any sources, they really play no factor in the negotiation of selling a domain name IMO, a way to get a feel for what a domain is worth is to list it at make offer, after a few offers you can more leverage your negotiations with the prices offered IMO

There really isn't a concrete answer to the question except what you have been offered vs what you are being offered IMO

This is still in it’s infancy, as said above, so anything could happen in the future.

However, you’re being quoted end-user pricing.. with the future possibly already priced in. Keep that in mind if you’re thinking about investing.

SecurityToken is a great name. The potential for this technology is huge but it in its infancy. Could be a long wait but probably worth it. I have picked up a few token names.
DigitalSecurityTokens in King and derivativestokens in King. The derivatives markets are ripe for tokenisation and worth the most out of all the asset classes, approx 500+ trillion. Good luck.
