Inspired by @capiche 's sale (congratz by the way!) and @DomainBarracksRob idea for a showcase thread, I thought I would set one up.

What is Decentralized Finance?

Nice!....DeFi continues to gain traction. I have grabbed some DeFi blockchain domains because the Decentralized Web, also talked about in that article, is making some progress as well.

Anyone else following this niche into blockchain domains?

Yeah, there are a few Decentra+keyword companies... I've seen maybe about 7 or 8 over the years.

I have Decentra+Pay (handregged 2 years ago), +Wallet, +Finance and maybe 3 others... But there are no sales (yet)...so I'm not super excited about these brandables...

I’m hodling for good measure

DeFization (KING)

( the act of using or implementing DeFi)

2020 will be the year it gets its own definition!

Haha...yeah, who knows! "Off the beaten trail" type of brandables. I have Decentr**m (Decentralized + Ethereum). It was more of an impulsive reg...I just think it sounds like a perfect brand.

Is DeFi behind the Ethereum spike?....As I write this Ethereum is up almost twice the percentage increase of bitcoin. Time to DeFi!

Ethereum is continuing to explode. Many people attribute it to the amount locked up in DeFi. Seems most ethereum conversations now include DeFi. The charts showing ethereum locked up in DeFi are a straight trajectory to outer space. Simply Wow!!

I bought a load of it back at Christmas when it was around £94

Keeping hold of it until it goes above £200 (again)

Told the better half it was my Christmas present

Yep, if it was ETH, he would be safe...they are pretty strict with their trademark. On another note I actually own P2PBTC.com lol.

It is open for debate on the proper usages for currency. Currency is very hard to establish rights even when a TM is claimed.

"Although there may have been a Swiss trademark registration, a reasonable person in the finance industry such as the Respondent, could not be assumed to know that a trademark registration existed for a unit of currency with worldwide recognition which is authorized by the legislature of the country that produces and distributes it. Respondent would normally be entitled to use "krugerrand" as a generic term."

I'm definitely going to invest some of my profit in DeFi later this year. Up to 15% a year in interest is amazing.

If it's promising 8 - 15% month it's probably a scam...

right now as far as I can tell visits are low, Im still learning Uni's parking tracking system and I do not have Google Analytics set up on it. But since the new year, DeFi is in the top 3 new Tech Buzz Words I've noticed.
