Welcome!

This is a daily list of available domain names, I've been doing this for a little over 10 years and I find it natural to read almost every domain from the drop list on a daily basis, both while it's happening and a few hours after I let my eyes/mind rest.

If you find this thread valuable, please subscribe to it with notifications. I will commit to doing this everyday if there is enough interest.

My goals resonate with @Rob Monster 's very much - co-creating with this community, sharing my experiences, and contribute to growth as an industry through individual impact. Oftentimes we take on too much on our own and it serves nobody. In this case, I have chosen to slow my own purchasing down to a minimum in order to empower those that might not be as experienced in terms of what actually sells.

If you need help selling your inventory, I can handle all inbound inquiries on these domains and any you might decide to purchase from these lists. That includes initial contact, phone calls, and follow ups. You can send me your inventory by uploading to Google Docs and attach the link in an email/PM (Daniel at Epik dot com )

Basic Disclaimer: I am not advocating you take on risks that go against your gut instinct or that might endanger your current portfolio. My main goal is to secure your existing inventory with renewals before taking on more risk. More domains equal more risk, and perhaps more reward. Nothing is guaranteed. Please do your own due diligence about each name.

Anyway, hope you enjoy and see some value from these lists! Going with quality over quantity here.

Thank yo @Stoff_es ,

The important thing to take from this is that we should ALL do our own thing. Everyone of us is different, with different stories and journeys and only we truly know what is best for us.

Advice is good only when it is good advice.

They say that the only people who made money during the gold rush were those selling picks and shovels. Maybe I am just a shovel seller shovelling as I sell.

@Reddstagg we each have our unique perpectives. Do the approach that seems best for your perpective. Different domainer...different approaches. That is why we have Walmart and Target. Same type of business but 2 different executions.

I see validity in both you and @wwwweb's approaches.

1. Yes registering the hyphened version will increase your investment and tie up more cash.

2. The hypenated version can be used as a lower cost alternative or in my book an added value to include in marketing the non hyphenated version.

We all need to take in concepts from our fellow NPers, but at the end of the day, we all run our own businesses and are responsible for our own capital investments to carve the path of our vision.

I imagine @Rob Monster gets the head shaking from other registrars about how different his approach is. But he executes to his vision and lets other registers manage their business to their vision.

I wish GREAT SUCCESS to all of us.

I'll be getting me some of that pie y'all.

Thank you for your wise and measured comments. It is good to have a balanced perspective sometimes. I just figured that as a newbie I was too late to get into the .com race so I had to firstly design a box, then build the box and then think outside of it and look at the blue sky. I have an unwavering belief in what I am trying to achieve and that is what drives me on.

The other thing to remember is that the bots cannot be as accurate as a human but what or who says that one human is better than another.

For example, I hand registered a domain name that we shall call YXY . The bots worked out that there were potentially major trademark issues and I had to expressly OK a waiver to say that there was not a TM conflict of interest. My domain name uses the letter YXY and then an extension to form a widely used word in another language. There can logically be no TM issues but the bots could not fully under stand my domain hack using the letter either side of the dot to make a new word.

Now, even with my limited experience I know that initially I have to approach the company called YXY and ask them if they wish to buy my domain name. They may not, but I will still have a widely used word in a foreign language which may also appeal to many people.

Thank you all for your kind messages, calls, texts, and well wishes! The warmth is being felt for sure. Unfortunately the initial stages of the birth have not yet started, even though she is starting to feel some discomfort. My daughter is loving the womb too much! Doctor cleared us to go back home, quoting typical false alarm.

Some decent names today, happy hunting!

NOTE: I ranked these names by birth year, according to the WHOIS record. Oldest first, newest last.

Tried my hardest to get the list to 100 names, but they were being snapped up the longer I made it. Whomever got Findtokens.com, nice grab! It was on my shortlist for the day. Baby update, she will be evicted tomorrow! Wife has had enough and the doctor is concerned the placenta is diminishing in quality, thus limiting the oxygen supply to the baby. Thanks to everyone for keeping up with the latest on that, can't wait to complete this part of life and focus on helping the little nugget grow.

First of all let me say thank you for these great lists @DanSanchez and best wishes for the baby! :xf.smile:

I don't want to take the thread off-topic, since I think it should mainly be only Dan's lists and people indicating which ones they took, but since @Reddstagg mentioned my post on hyphenated domain names (thank you for your kind comments), I wanted to make sure that it was not mis-interpreted (I write at such length, that is easy to do, I know :xf.eek:). Here is part of summary from the article.
3.6% of the .com domain names listed for sale include hyphens. We saw earlier that for 2019 only about 2.5% of sales in .com in 2019 include hyphens, and prices are lower.
(less in previous years. Therefore....)
data seems to suggest that domain names without hyphens are slightly better investments.
I did point out that the trend seemed to be narrowing, with hyphenated .com growing in popularity in recent years, but they are not equal yet. Now as @Reddstagg correctly pointed out they can be acquired at much lower cost, a factor I did not look into. Also, NameBio only represents perhaps 20% or less of aftermarket domain sales, and it is possible there is some bias that would change things if we had all the data.

I think if there is more discussion on hyphenated domain names it should go in one of the threads on that topic, or a new thread, to not dilute the value and focus of this one which is drop lists.

Thank you to all who contribute to the discussion. Have a great evening.

Bob

Dear NP, I am so happy to present the newest member of our domaining family, Delilah Grace. She was born late Tuesday evening after some complications with the delivery, doctors rushed my wife to cesarian. She had the umbilical cord wrapped tightly around her little neck when she came out, the doctors detected a small amount of distress and within 5 minutes my wife was in the operating table. Have to say there are some miracle workers in this world we can't live without.

It has been a crazy experience in comparison to a normal delivery, but we are delighted to see her thriving as a 7.13lbs little baby girl.

Thank you to those who sent messages asking how things were, I truly felt like part of a community that cares for me and my family.

The past three days have been challenging, I can count the number of hour slept in one hand. But all will pass and things are slowly normalizing at home. Will build a quick list tonight, started about two hours ago and changed a few diapers in the process too.

With much love, Daniel.

I am happy for you, your wife and little Delilah Grace. I feel your stress. My first child was an emergency C-section, as well. But from the look on her face, she doesn't seem to like the beard.
