I created a post about this on NP before. Posted as a question I think?

I've decided along with posting Monthly Search Volumes and maybe SEO and Ranking plus age etc etc.

I feel the domains these companies below have chosen to warehouse for themselves has value to domainer.

Of course I don't suggest using such comps when selling to endusers. Wouldn't want them having "options".

But I think when selling to domainers on here it is useful data.

Also I wouldn't post the domain in it's entirety as a link.

i would probably just get the list from these sites. remove the .com and show them as words not as url.

No need to boost traffic to HugeDomains right?

For example, Selling a "Coin" domain? I believe given this data is easy to come to the conclusion that a $25 bid (Godaddy) or even a $69 bid (Namejet) is a reasonable investment.

Although while finishing this thread. showing these prices might limit what a domainer would bid on a domain? like "Oh wait Hugedomains only wants $2,995 for a similar domain? Ok. I better not bid over that."

I guess it would not matter much if the seller is liquidating and just wants maybe $250 or $500 or even $1000 for a domain to be sold.

Anyone's opinion on this is appreciated and welcome.

These are just asking prices, not sold prices?

People or companies can ask what they want doesn't mean they will get that price,

I would weigh my decision more towards similarly sold domains rather than what other people are asking........

That goes without saying and of course Sold prices are a given and is understood. but every little bit helps.

I've seen people on here trying to use monthly search volumes for single words to try and explain the value of their two or even three word domains on here.

I'm just saying. these companies have in house experts or algorithms designed to choose the best domains to dropcatch and warehouse.

If anything it's a good indicator of value.

it's like when when Amazon "planned" to move to Long Island City, Queens, NYC ( but didn't) and then everyone bought properties around the area they were supposed to build their new headquarters.

I mean if someone dumb and broke bought a property in an area. No one would care to invest there. But if someone rich and smart did so. Well you already know.

and yes I do understand that HugeDomains and BuyDomains probably use their servers and tech to grab these domains once they drop for pennies on the dollar. That's not really important here.

What is important is the "effort" (no matter how negligible) they took to get these domains in to there warehouse.

One can also argue that it is just as important knowing what domains HugeDomains DOES NOT warehouse.

It just makes it more valuable what they DO warehouse.

Currently HugeDomains is warehousing 6,907 domains.

One can also argue that their domains is better than a majority of HugeDomains coins.

one can argue for example CoinBitcoin.com for a $25 starting bid is better than hundreds of domains being sold by HugeDomains for $2,500 or even $6,995.

Why buy PoaCoin for $6,995? for investment when you can buy CoinBitcoin.com for $25?

To any buyer domainer or enduser. That reason has to resonate in their brain and their wallets.

MeowCoin for $5,995?
