Hi everyone!

With the new year approaching, I am thinking of changing my sales strategy. I’ve done well with BrandBucket,SquadHelp and Brandpa this year and I am curious to see where most of us got the most sales. I am getting sick of the 25,30,35 percent commission fees.

Thanks!

I voted other because the question asked greatest number and for me this would be Namecheap marketplace not on your list. If most dollars was question, then answers would be different. I suspect dollar volumes on the brandable marketplaces are high for many even though when their numbers of sales low.

Dynadot and NameSilo are two other registrar marketplaces not on list and in fact GoDaddy not on if you consider sales separate from Afternic. And of course Uniregistry as you mention. I guess I am just stressing that there are many active places to sell domain names and that is good for domainers.

It was Efty for me this year. But I am considering the GoDaddy / Afternic Network with Fixed prices. I'll just have to raise my fixed prices so that I net about the same after the fees...

Thanks! I've added them to the poll!
I am looking at the sales volume.

Last year when I started, all of my sales were through DAN.

This year it's a 50/50 split between DAN and Afternic with one private sale thrown in.

Afternic alone does about 40% of all by the amount of sales. About 30% is direct. The rest comes from brandable marketplaces, sedo etc

Over the last decade Afternic sales were a rarity and in 2010-2011 SEDO sales were a high portion of overall sales v olume. However, in recent years SEDO is virtually dead as a sales platform while in 2019 Afternic sales took off. What I find somewhat odd is that in most cases the sold domain was available at a lower price on the EFTY landing page but the buyer paid a premium to acquire it directly via the Afternic marketplace.

Mostly Afternic, most times names were listed at cheaper prices elsewhere but buyers still click higher BIN on Afternic.

Uniregistry

I have sold 29 domains so far this year on Uni.

The newly upgraded website (which they say has more than 50 improvements) and which was rolled out a month ago ("Project Dynamo") is superb, speedy and sophisticated.

1. DAN
2. Afternic

All sold domains were parked at DAN, but some buyers decided to buy through Afternic :wideyed:

What improvements were made via dynamo? I just saw a lot of features like bulk edits pulled back?
