In this thread, I will give you my opinion about your submitted new gTLD domain name.

I will focus not only on its numerical appraisal, but also will take other factors into consideration (mainly renewal fee and what you do with the name, where it is presented, etc), to debate whether it is a good investment choice (in my opinion). Just because I am a new gTLD investor it does not mean that I will give good opinion on crappy names - so I will tell you when I see no value or potential. To see examples of new gTLD domain names I personally invest in, you can check my website www.brands.international.

Rules:
1. Only 1 new gTLD domain name can be submitted daily per 1 Namepros user.
2. This thread is related to new gTLD domain names only - I can not give you my opinion about .com, .net, org or ccTLD names like .de or .co.uk names, as I do not have enough direct experience with them.
3. I am not responsible for any damages related to my advice - it is only my personal opinion, although I will really try my best to give reasonable, and well-balanced opinion.
4. You can submit only domain name you personally own.
5. For security and privacy purposes, all names submitted and discussed in replies must be in
keyword(s) / gTLD extension format (for example royal / estate, or bestgames / online)
6. Comments/opinions/appraisals from other members on any name submitted here are very welcome :)

What do you think of the domain
Ride / Rentals

This one is interesting - can you please share a bit about motivation behind registering it?

I personally do not feel it that much at the moment, but I might be missing something, so would like to learn more - particularly who the end user would be for this one in your opion (some company related to scooters or motorcycles, or something like that maybe?).

Thank you :)

Regarding navigation / club, I think it is very similar to recently appraised name motivation / club. They have same renewals and similar appraisal range, although if I could bet, I would say navigation is even a little better. So I would feel it somewhere in 1,5k-7k range with STR 1%.

It is a nice .club name, and imo definitely a keeper!

GL :)

Thank you again! You rock!

Thanks for the reply ..
Ride.Rentals can refer to renting cars, luxury car rentals.. limo..motorcycles, scooters, funrides etc... (anything you can ride and want to rent) plus I think rolls off the tongue well.. you have already sites like rentaride.com , rentalrides.com , funriderentals.com and a bunch of other stuff .

Dress / Rentals

Ideal for an online platform that rents different kinds of dresses such as wedding dresses, evening dresses, party dresses, formal dresses, luxury dresses and even casual dresses.

The global online clothing rental market is worth over USD 1 billion and is predicted to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 10.9% to USD 2.8 billion in 2027 (Source). Also, H&M has recently provided clothing rental service to shoppers.

Your opinion on this domain name is appreciated.

By the way, it seems that you miss giving your thought on my domain below. Your opinion is appreciated.
Margin / Loans

A margin loan (a.k.a investment loan) is money borrowed by an investor to buy additional securities or to meet short-term financial needs, and is secured against the investor's shares or managed funds. It is a common financial product offered by financial institutions and banks.

Thanks in advance for your opinion.

Flowers/Bio

Bio is the extension for everything organic related, specially in Europe

Domain seems to have standard renewal for .bio, which is approx USD 45 at many registrars.

It goes kind of nicely together, "flowers / bio" aka "bio / flowers" in reversed order (here we have to note that domain name bio / flowers is available at the moment of writing, with higher premium renewal of approx. USD 370 / year).

This gives imo a upper pricing cap of your domain name, something like 6k - 9k (I usually take 20 - 30 times renewal fee of domain which competes with my names for that purpose, but it is just a very rough guesstimate though).

From another perspective, we see that "bioflowers" / com is parked, with BIN price $4595, at the time of writing, while "flowersbio" / com is not even registered in .com at all.

This indicates, that although it seems nice on first glance, there is not that much demand for bio flowers, probably it is not that important for flowers to be bio, as they are (usually) not edible :)

Anyway, considering also publicly reported sales in namebio.com for .bio extension (which seems to be in mid xxxx for similar keywords, if we do take away two highest sales), I would feel this domain name is around 4k-5k in 2019, with STR 1%.

So it seems to be a balanced investment: your yearly projected profit would be USD 40-50, while your fixed yearly holding costs is USD 45. This type of names will not make you rich, but in average you will not loose money on them either, imo.

Semantically it is a nice domain name. GL :)

Admission / icu (n)
We can register keyword admission in hunderds of new gTLD extensions at the moment.

There seems to be no strong semantic connection between this keyword and the domain extension .icu, so lot of alternatives for end users are possible now. Therefore I think there is no big value equity in this domain name from investment point of view (aka reg fee, imo).

Unless I miss something significant here, in which case please feedback! Thank you.

PS: correction - well, now I see it can be also admission to Intensive Care Unit as Google strongly suggests, and so if someone would want to write a website about it (which would probably rank highly for those keywords) - in this case mid xxx - 1k would be possible imo - but tbh, I see probabilities for that pretty low..so my feeling is that this is not going to be much profitable venture, because of very narrow end user pool.

From math point of view, even with STR 1% (which I feel will be less here), it is USD 5-10 of projected profit vs USD 7 fixed yearly holding cost. So I would experiment within 1st year of holding, and if no action/traffic/visits/offers, etc, reconsider whether to renew or not.

GL :)

There seems to be no strong semantic connection between this keyword and the domain extension .icu,
As well as the ones you describe I would see possibilities here for .icu (I See You) in terms of live events, performances, drama, sports etc. i.e. as a ticketing site. It also would work for pay-on-demand access to live sports and other types of events. Not sure how many would really adopt an .icu for such a site, but in terms of the words, I see it working.

Hello, could you please give me your professional advice about this domain:

Travel / fan
Registration/Renewal fees $219.00

Thank you in advance.
Travel / fan is a beautiful new gTLD domain name. Certainly it could be developed to very nice website, which would rank high for those words. So from end user point of view, perfect and valuable domain name.

Now, I from your point of view, I do not know. I do not know how well connected you are, what are your selling skills, whether you can sell this to end user, explaining them some facts about seo, ranking, etc, etc .. too many factors.

When it comes to appraisal, I would see .fan semantically close to categories as .expert, .guru, .ninja, or .fans. The name feels to me (there are not enough comparables at the time of writing) as 5k-20k type of name in 2019, with STR 1% for this price range, but only IF you can outbound it to relevant end users. Maybe even more, but STR goes quickly down in this case. Again, just my feeling, and I might be totally wrong, here, as we do not have yet enough sales data for .fan (there is only 1 record for .fans (plural) in namebio.com, while .fan extension is not even yet supported in namebio.com at the time of writing).

From namestat.org we can see that .fan is relatively new extension, it went to GA (general availability) only recently, in 12.Dec.2018. so it is just 1 year now. And because it is so new and fresh, we can not expect that end users will be massively searching for it so soon. So imo aftermarket for it is just in it's creation, as more and more people are getting aware of this new possibilities in time.

So, if the above (very wild guesstimate) of price range and STR is correct, your projected yearly profit is USD 50-200, while your fixed yearly cost is USD 219. So personally I am not big fan from investment point of (unless you have some specific plan with it how to sell it to relevant end users).

When I am at .fan , I will also comment on this one - it is another beautiful domain name with very high end user potential.

The rest is the same as for travel / fun - it all depends on your budget, how you are going to sell them, and whether you can afford to keep them and pay for the renewals until the sales to end users happen (which can take several years, as domaining is game of patience).

@Brands.International, thank you so much for taking the time to review those domains. You truly make the difference in this Namepros community!

Yes, you are right. I absolutely got your point in terms of selling those or any other domains to the right end users by making a very efficient pitch to them by pointing out the value they would/could get in terms of SEO by acquiring a determined domain. Honestly, it's something I need to dig and learn more about how to elaborate an efficient selling pitch for my domains lighting up the SEO benefits in first place.

I'm taking your advice about the Renewal fees and the holding down game plan for couple of years, it could be worth it but at the same time risky if I don't know how to play the cards on the table. I think, I should stick more around .Coms domains because they are easier to sell and the Renewal fees are around $8 to $12 as it's always suggested by a good friend of mine @ksusha64

Your analysis was very helpful as usual, so I do appreciate your advices!
God bless 🙏
