If you decided to hold it for years, I think the best price would be at the average level of brandables, somewhere within 1000-3000.

The trend is away from animal product, but I agree $1000+ on a brandables site but expect to wait a long time. Wholesale might be $10-20. So keep it for a year and sell it for what ever you can get a month or two before renewal.
