I have just found that uk2.net has a weekend promo, offering .com's with £1 (without vat).

I do not know if there is a limit, but so far I have registered 35 domains!!!

I didn't know this registrar...it appeared as an advertisement at my instagram.
when i registered the domains, it took around 20 minutes to appear to my account, and 2 of them haven't appeared yet. Instead is appearing a message "currently being set-up".

they do not mention about any fee, in case i want to transfer out the domains. I read the terms and conditions, but i didn't find something.
The domains are set autorenew, but you can change it to manual, through the control panel.
They accept Paypal.

if you like you can use my referral link, where both of us can earn up to £45!!

https://www.uk2.net/referral/?referral_uuid=C9E168CC-148D-11EA-9090-47E588456691

Please share it, so that more people get benefit out of it.

What does this mean:
All domains registered under this offer must remain on their UK2.net plan for minimum of 12 months.

The way I interpret this. You might be forced to renew for an additional year depending on how the renewal date processing is done.

There must be some fine print on this deal.

Edit:

Gotcha: #4 in Terms: In order to avoid the expiry of any domain, UK2 shall take payment for renewals up to 7 days in advance of the renewal date.

You will likely be forced to pay not only for the .com but also on the .online EXPENSIVE domain renewal.

I think that's a wise decision, deleting the free ".online". There will come future promotions "mulityear" at Dynadot (usually - I saw this before- if you then pay 9 USD you have 2 years for the .online-domain This is not mutiyear "exactly" the same price but 2 USD + 7 USD payable immediately) or Porkbun if you really want this .online domain registerred for 2 years.
An enormous portfolio has some risks too. I you haven't seen the renewal its 25.99 GBP = 30 Euro and 33 USD approx.for renewal. If autorenew accidently is "on", you'll have to pay a lot (and if you transfer away, you will pay 23 USD or more for the ".online"-domain, and such promotions I haven't seen yet for .online. UNLESS NOW at 1and1, Dreamhost, and Uniregistry for the moment : so not 9 USD for 2 years at Dynadot promotions several times per year then, because you got it for free at 0 GPB., but the transfer costs 23 USD for the .online unless you sell that domain quickly and with profit within the year).

Note at domcomp I see that you can register .online for 1 year 1 USD , and the renewal is also 1 USD.at Dreamhost : so you register, and renew immediately, and you have a price of 2 USD for 2 years together.

got 60 more, no issues so far, i did also contact tech support to see if tere is a way around and do bulk dns settings.. they said even they cant, so itll be manually setting for 200 names.. 1 domain takes around 30 secs so this will be 1-2 hours... so far, worth it imo... lets hope no account closure... Im stopping here... 200 is good for me, time to disable paypal agreement so no shady second charges come in :)

Were you trying to buy more than 200? Don’t they tell you why they suspended your account?

Curious, how many were registered?

And what happened to the domains that were registered? Were they dropped, and available to re-register? Or does WHOIS show something different?

I just had my purchases refunded as well (maybe?)

Just saw "billing agreement cancellation" emails from PayPal.

But I'm not sure if they refunded all purchases though...

And still notice domains in my account. Likely from already processed orders.

I assume (hoping) the refunded orders were from my pending (unfulfilled) orders.

I have registered around 45 .UK domains with them then my account got suspended without any warning or explanation and refunded my money.
I have just initiated Nominet transfer to my registrar :xf.wink:, honestly not happy with this outcome but this is what you get for suspending accounts without any notice or explanation.
