Yes! Namepros and crypto mentioned in the same article!

Times are good for crypto names. DeFi seems to be an area not mentioned in the article, but poised for growth. The DeFi space is exploding with startups.

😂 This article is a just plug for the absolutely terrible domains mentioned in it for sale. Poorest quality non-dotcoms listed for sale... it's just shameless self promotion...

Noticed @NYJimbo has a post here on namepros mentioned in the bitcoin website article.....but no mention of namepros itself?

The article is a joke and is very negative towards anyone trying to sell domain names ended up skim reading half way through it....

I own:

CurrencyCrypto.com ("CryptoCurrency" INVERTED!)

eCurrencyRate.com, eCurrencyRates.com.

"Cryptocurrency" has many names, such as the less-widely used: "virtual currency."

Why not 'coin' eCurrency? (No pun intended :xf.wink:)

It annoyed me in the article when it referenced our industry as nothing more than 'domain squatting'. Squatting by its very definition means that there is no legitimate reason for taking possession of something, usually property.

It gives no mention of the fact that Domain Investing is a $Billion dollar industry and is as organized as the stock market or indeed gold mining. We're all just searching for that long-shot and generally we don't strike it lucky overnight but by months or years of hard work and determination.

Anyway, crypto currencies seem to be on a downward trajectory at present and knowing why would be the real deal maker.

My opinion, as a qualified Financial Advisor is that crypto currencies can be quite volatile in a relatively short space of time so best we all just keep chipping away and find a few more domains to squat on.

I know what the writer of that article can do:

I saw somebody who owns bitcoinwallet.com is utilizing it to provide easy to remember wallet addresses which I think is quite cool ... and they are dong it by using subdomains..eg: my bitcoin address is john.bitcoinwallet.com

I'm not sure how the url converts to sending to your real bitcoin address, perhaps you could put the QR code on the subdomain page

Anyhow for this reason I acquired BTCmenow.com so if you wanted to give someone your wallet address you could say its John.btcmenow.com < just an idea! :)
