domain What do you think about my new gTLD domain? Advice thread.

In this thread, I will give you my opinion about your submitted new gTLD domain name.

I will focus not only on its numerical appraisal, but also will take other factors into consideration (mainly renewal fee and what you do with the name, where it is presented, etc), to debate whether it is a good investment choice (in my opinion). Just because I am a new gTLD investor it does not mean that I will give good opinion on crappy names - so I will tell you when I see no value or potential. Rules:
1. Only 1 new gTLD domain name can be submitted daily per 1 Namepros user.
2. This thread is related to new gTLD domain names only - I can not give you my opinion about .com, .net, org or ccTLD names like .de or .co.uk names, as I do not have enough direct experience with them.
3. I am not responsible for any damages related to my advice - it is only my personal opinion, although I will really try my best to give reasonable, and well-balanced opinion.
4. You can submit only domain name you personally own.
5. For security and privacy purposes, all names submitted and discussed in replies must be in
keyword(s) / gTLD extension format (for example royal / estate, or bestgames / online)
6. Comments/opinions/appraisals from other members on any name submitted here are very welcome

From math point of view, name seems to have standard renewal for .gold, and probably should sell for 3k-5k range with STR 1% in 2019, imo. It is therefore so-so investment (projected yearly profit is 30-50, while your fxed yearly renewal costs is around 35).

This type of name will therefore not make you rich, but in average you will not loose money on it as well. GL

This is nice one. Renewal is standard, which is around 10 at many registrars. Resell price can be between 1k - 3k in 2019 with STR 1%, imo. Maybe for more, but STR then is reduced significantly.

Therefore your projected yearly profit is 10-30, while your fixed yearly renewal costs is 10.

If you would have more of such names in your portfolio, this should be pretty profitable for you.

Not wanting to disrupt your fantastic service @Brands.International (I like your new UserN change to Brands.International BTW

) and I agree with most of your assessments, but although not my name and I have not thought much about it I like designs(.)direct quite a bit and think the plural works better here. I could see it for any kind of business to consumer/business design service whether it was blueprints, floral designs, garden designs, deck designs, playground designs, clothing patterns, prototype designs with 3D printing, custom electronic circuit board designs, etc. etc. I actually like this name a lot! Hi Bob, that is very valuable comment and thank you for that! You are also a native English speaker and can sometimes see something what I can not, due to my language limitations. So please feel free to interrupt this thread anytime you like

I would welcome experienced members with balanced view towards new gTLDs like you, @HotKey or @Fancy.domains to participate in this thread as per your likes and give some appraisals or opinions/reactions, as because of my time limitations sometimes this thread is burried (as I do not respond on timely manner) and people are waiting even several weeks to get some response. And I have learned you guys can give the same depth of expertise as I can, while you remain very balanced towards new gTLDs, so the opinion is also well balanced. Thanks again!

The reason is that there are so many alternatives at the new gTLD space at the time of writing, while keyword plus extensions combo does not have any special semantic meaning which would differentiate it to end users from other new gTLD alternatives.

What is the exact yearly renewal there? I am not sure about this one, so would like to confirm with you directly.

@Nizar , this one is .sh, which is a ccTLD for Saint Helena. So it is not new gTLD domain name and it does not belong to this appraisal thread.

I think I have appraised that one already somewhere, I remember this name - in short, I do not feel it much, and I would not register it myself if I woud see it available for reg fee.

It is too vague imo, and keyword does not form unique combo with extension as I see it.
