Which is preferable and most liquid ?
Prefered = Companies, entrepreneurs, start-up = People who pay retail (the most)
Most liquid = Other domainers = People who pay wholesale (1-10% of retail)
The good thing about domaining is that there are many different business models possible:
- You can go for volume and resell to other domainers for very small mark-ups, but on many domains.
- You can go for big profits and wait for end users to make you bigger offers, but on few domains.
- You can do outbound to end users and get results somewhere in between.
All that said ... the majority of people attempting any of those 3 choices usually fail. There is no secret formula to domaining other than picking EXCELLENT domains at undervalue prices. Something most domainers simply don't ever master.
Targeting Company : Keywords related such as hotels, fb, Amazon or any other company related
Be VERY careful. "Hotels" is a generic word and generally safe depending on the prefix/suffix, but targeting trademarks like FB or Amazon is usually trademark infringement! It's not legal, nor is it ethical. It's what people call cyber-squatting .. if you do it, you make all of us look bad! Search the forums for the term "UDRP" and "TRADEMARK" .. you definitely need to learn about those before you buy your first domain!
These are just some of the very basics .. I highly suggest you take your time and learn as much as possible until you fully understand the answers I gave you.
Best of luck to you on your domaining adventures!
