While as Frank implies often combining two acronyms is a domain deal breaker, here SEO and PPC are related, so it might work? I have not researched much to see if double acronyms along these lines have sold. You should check this in NameBio. PPC seems to have passed its best before date may also be a slight issue.

It is taken in 8 TLDs which is somewhat promising, although someone is selling the .net cheap which may be a negative. I see that there have been sales of single letters before or after PPC. I presume the one sale of this exact name in GoValue comparators is your purchase?

Best wishes,

Bob

Edit: a comparator not in SEO but from combining two acronyms that I would find somewhat similar is C/E/O/L/L/C in com (without the / :xf.grin:) went for just under $700.

No Value. As Frank said each word on its own is valuable.
But the combination of these two is quite weird.

The end user for each word SEO and PPC is totally different.
Neither of the end user will see any value in this combination..

you can't
pay per click
( PPC )
in order to improve SEO
( search engine results )

( actually you can ...
but who that heck knows that? )

I agree, but I took the meaning as how to optimize your ppc? Doesn't that make sense? How to optimize pages so that they tend to get higher value clicks? I don't do (hardly) any PPC so may well be off base.

Bob

actually that is a funny idea

in Adwords, for example, you pay for a click to your page

that's PPC

In AdSense you earn for a click on your ads on our page

if you do both

you lose

1) your AdWords Account
2) your Adsense account

Thanks for explanation, Frank. I do know that much :xf.grin:

I have some pages that make a few pennies with Adsense and have been doing so a decade. Is it not sensible to talk about how a service might optimize those pages so that they would get more highly rated in search, get more traffic, and in particular the right traffic that leads to both advertisers that pay decently and also a decent CTR? That is how I interpreted the name. BTW I am not disagreeing that two acronyms together look a little ugly.

there is not much to know about, Bob

ads are triggered by the content of that page
or retargeting tags

and maybe , maybe
browser history
and cache

so as far as I know
all you can do is
blog about stuff that pays well

Agreed, they're mostly opposite ends of a marketing strategy... Like catdog.

Not Brand-able. Both PPC(Pay per click to get traffic) and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation, enables to get good traffic freely) Different techniques and startegies.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. Is there someplace I can learn more about this? Want to make sure I don't do anything wrong when I start my Adsense account eventually

Well, thinking that current markets are highly competitive and not giving a try will not bring anything. An innovative strategy will cross all those competitive markets and gets its place on the top. If PPC and SEO are myths no point to search on Google or other search engines. Not to criticise you, I just meant to say there are ways to get on top,
