The thing that I have realized is that scarcity is really an illusion. We hold on to our funds tightly wondering if there will be enough but in reality, if we are a force for good, providence tends to pay it back.

As for Epik we constantly look for ways to re-invest back into things that empower, and that includes things like interest-free loans or empowerment grants. It is a blessing to the recipient but it also comes back.

Ultimately, I do think it comes back to one's calling. Philanthropy is just an extension of humbling yourself enough to realize that the wealth you have is just a tool.

@Rob Monster , welcome to my thread, I have been following your progress with your empowerment and charity projects that you have recently started to work on and I want to congratulate you for coming this far. I am looking forward to seeing the formal mission, equal opportunity, and non-discriminatory statements in addition to the legal credentials for your empowerment and charity organizations on their corresponding websites soon. As one of the few (perhaps the only one) domain centric charity organizations here I am sure that you are going to be scrutinized greatly and be held to a very high standard by the domaining community, I hope that you can rise to the challenge by proving to everyone that your empowerment and charity organizations are as good or even better than some of the other organizations that are out there when it comes to the domaining community making a choice for their donations. Although you are welcomed to make a brief reply to indicate your future aspirations and plans, but please put any detailed explanations or promotions on a separate thread as I don’t want the focus of my thread to be centered on just one organization, for the same reason if anyone has any concerns or questions from Rob they should ask him on his own thread.


Although I value the work that is being done by all the legitimate nonprofit and charity organizations to help the needy and the disadvantaged, but I personally consider money and power to be tools of enslavement and eventually I like to see the day that we can become free from this bondage that has created so much inequality, and pain and suffering in our lives ever since the beginning of civilization. I believe that for people to be able to live a normal, productive, healthy, and happy life it should not depend on how much money they have or to whom they have to bow down to. As I have already said although I appreciate the work that is being done by nonprofit and charitable organizations in the current environment, but in my opinion people’s lives should not depend on the charitable whims of others especially since there is always a limit to charity. I personally consider adequate and timely Food, Shelter, Healthcare, and Education to be a part of the human Rights and I believe that we should do everything in our power to end Hunger, Homelessness, Disease, and illiteracy all over the World and make it possible for people to be able to have a good life irregardless of how much money they have.

Although these ideas might look to be a little far fetched at the present time, but as our abilities increase through technologies such as with the advent of AI we will soon have the means to free ourselves from all that has been holding humanity back from being able to ascend to a higher level and to create a World that is not ruled by money and power, but rather one that is guided by logic and compassion. So to be able to be a force for good we have to break away from the past and see what is in plan for us today by a higher power (God). Whether you are a person of faith or whether you believe that you are your own savior I believe that the only way that we can save ourselves and our planet from imminent destruction is by becoming united over the Universal principles that have been arrived at through logic and compassion.

Meanwhile until we can ascend to a higher level and free ourselves from the bondage of money and power I strongly recommend for everyone here to do some research and find a trusted charity organization to donate to as I believe that they are doing a very valuable service to humanity at large in the current environment.

I want this thread to become a record as to who the good guys are in the Domain Industry, so you might want to find a worthy charitable organization to donate to and if you wish post the details here for everyone to see.

Those are wise words that pays to live by, I also like to add that you can help Humanity in so many different ways that goes beyond just giving money, you can pick a cause ( or as many as you can handle) and educate people by creating awareness about how to improve things further for Humanity and the Environment (or animals and plants which I consider as part of the Environment). You can also do some volunteer work to help out where needed.

But altogether everyone should find their own calling and try to do some good for Humanity and the Environment.

And I want to add that even if you just think about how to do some good for Humanity and the Environment that by itself makes you one of the good guys because it shows that at the very least you care about helping others in your mind, and when you are ready and have found your calling then you can put those thoughts in to action.

So everyone start thinking about how to do some good for Humanity and the Environment right this minute.

One of the organizations that i recommend and to which i donate % of my domain profits is

• It is a 100 year old organization
• Actively involved in providing children around the world with food, education, shelter, health, disaster relief initiatives, etc
  
• They work especially with children in poverty, war conflict zones and remote locations where it is difficult to receive aid.
• Often they multiply your donation. Example. If you give $100. The multiply it by 2 and donate $200, multiply by 5 and donate $500 and often multiply by 10 and donate $1000.. You will receive an email when such a multiplication scheme is going on.
  
• God has bestowed me and my family with unimaginable blessings when we did a contribution here few months back.

It's a crime for even one child to go hungry, nevertheless millions of them starving to death every year.

Although some of the better charity organizations are trying their best to save the children from starvation, but there is only so much that they can do in the current environment that is based on the policies of live and let die which we have been brainwashed to believe that is the right thing to do. I believe that the humanity as a whole is in a trance that is making us close our eyes to all the evil that is going on around us specially when it comes to all the children who are suffering or dying from hunger or who are being stranded or killed by all the wars and hostilities that are going on around the World not to mention all those children who are being executed systematically through abortion or those who are brought to the World but that their health is being affected by alcohol abuse, drug addiction, or STDs or the poisonous products and the Environment that they are subjected to.

I see many domainers here on this forum who are registering domains related to all kinds of different subjects, but why not register a few domains that can be used to do some good for Humanity and the Environment. You as a domainer are perhaps in the best position to introduce certain ideas through the domains that you register that can be used to make a difference in the World and whether you use those domains yourself or whether you sell or donate them to others who want to do some good for Humanity and the Environment it is still going to count a lot towards making you one of the good guys.

I myself had started a few websites a while back to create some awareness around a few subjects that I cared about, but they are still a work in progress. As I had mentioned earlier even if you don't have any extra money to donate, but you can still think about how to improve the situation for Humanity and the Environment and perhaps you can create a few websites at minimal costs to make your thoughts known to others so that it might help Humanity as a whole to wake up and come out of the trance that is making it ignore all the abuse, suffering, and killings that are going on around the World or perhaps you could help open everyone's eyes to all the damage that is being done to the Environment.

Just wondering if anyone has had any good thoughts or ideas on how to end hunger, disease, homelessness, illiteracy, and poverty around the world.

I myself have been thinking about how new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence can help Humanity by creating a much better quality of life for everyone so that people can live a productive, healthy, and happy life in a safe and stable Environment both in their immediate surroundings and the whole Planet at large.

Can a logical and compassionate AI that is a force for good change the Humanity's wrong mindsets, lifestyles, behaviors, and habits and the bad characteristics of greed, jealousy, hate, delinquency, addiction, discrimination, cruelty, lust, and dishonesty that have resulted in the existing politics and policies of inequality, suppression, oppression, racism, abuse, torture, killings, and War that have brought the World to the brink of destruction and collapse both as far as Humanity and our Home Planet are concerned.

Can a good AI help Humanity ascend to a higher level of existence and become a force for good so that we can conquer all that has been keeping us in bondage and put an end to all the pain and suffering that is going on around the world once and for all.

Just wondering if anyone here has ever donated a domain name to a charity or nonprofit organization that is being put to some good use to help others.

Helping others starts by replacing Hate with Love and Care for Humanity and your Home Planet and by training your mind to think of positive ways that you could make a difference in the World instead of trying to come up with clever ways to hurt others or take advantage of them.

In another words you have to take the first step in your own mind towards being a Force For Good.

Christmas is almost here,

A lot of needy families are hoping that Santa will give them a helping hand and put some food on their table.

You can be Santa by donating to a food bank or reputable charity organization this holiday season.

Although it's a worthy cause to donate to Food Banks so that they can put food on the table for the needy families during the holiday seasons, but it's important to realize that donating throughout the year on a more consistent and lasting schedule can make it possible for the Food Banks to provide a better quality of food for those who are in need of assistance on a daily basis year round.

The more money the food banks can get the more they'll be able to actually purchase fresh food instead of just relying on companies that donate their excess food inventory.

Preventing food from going to waste by channeling it to Food Banks is a catching trend as more and more stores and restaurants realize that some food can still be used safely even if they go past expiration date by a few days or if they are just damaged superficially and can't be put for sale at the stores. Although there still has to be oversight both by the companies that donate food and by the Food Banks themselves to make sure that they don't give any food to the needy that is spoiled or unsuitable for consumption as that defies the whole purpose of trying to help them if they are made sick.

Perhaps you can inquire about what measures are taken as far as safety and quality checks at the time that you donate your money, because you can also play an important role in providing oversight for these operations.

Food can go bad in many different ways, some might get spoiled biologically through mold and other harmful microorganisms, and some might become chemically unstable or dangerous they could also have been defective to begin with due to the way that they were made or produced or they could have become contaminated with foreign particles or objects (including insects or rodents and their byproducts) that shouldn't have been there. Nevertheless having oversight both from within and from those on the outside is an important factor to make sure that your donation is put to good use.

I guess it depends on your financial situation and ability, but perhaps you could give a higher percentage of your donations to your local charities and still manage to allocate some to those organizations that work at the National or Global scale especially during natural disasters where people are going to need help in far away place.

Many people are having a hard time making ends meet this holiday season and they can surely use some help.

Although there are some government programs that are providing help, but due to the sheer number of the people that are in need the help and assistance that are provided to them are being rationed and are not enough to take care of everyone adequately.

That's why that it's more important than ever that those amongst us who are well off (and perhaps have gotten even richer during the Pandemic) to help out in order for people (specially the children) not to go hungry.

One of the best ways to help out is to give to the food banks. We all have seen the long lines of people who are waiting for hours to receive food and assistance, it will be a shame if some of them have to be turned away because of lack of funds.

On a personal thought,

Everyone wants for things to get back to normal, but after all the pain and suffering that we have been witnessing that has been brought out to the open by this Pandemic, do we really want to go back to the way that things were before in the past few decades.

In a way the World is being tested by this Pandemic and all its shortcomings are being exposed for everyone to see. We need to learn from this experience and perhaps come up with new ways to go about certain things so that we won't be in such weak position every time that we are faced with a catastrophe or disaster.

This Planet of ours has all the resources that we need in order to be able to take care of its 10 billion or so inhabitants provided that we stop damaging the environment and change our way of thinking in a way that can allow us to do the right things going forward.

We have to accept the fact that all our existing ideologies, doctrines, and philosophies have failed us in dealing with all the problems that the World is facing right now. By fanatically clinging to our extremist and outdated political, religious, racial, and economical agendas and policies we only deprive ourselves of being able to have a better future.

Our current way of running this Planet has only resulted in having more inequality, and political, religious, racial, and economical tensions, animosities, and divisions that sooner or later are going to result in yet having another World War.

We need to free ourselves of all the outdated ways of thinking and doing things that are holding us back and we need to use all our resources and technological abilities (such as AI and Automation) to come up with new and innovative ways to make this a better World for everyone so that Humanity and the Environment won't have to suffer so much anymore.

As I have been saying all along the only way to save Humanity and our Home Planet from all that is wrong is for us all to try to find common grounds over the Universal Principles and Values that are derived through Logic and Compassion that can help Humanity ascend to a higher level of thinking and existence.

Have you made a few Large domain sales this year, have you made a lot of profit on Bitcoin (I remember when Bitcoins were between 5 to 25 Cents each and some people were paying hundreds or even thousands of Bitcoins to buy domain names) or were you amongst the few who have made a killing in the stock market (well we know who you all are ) so don't be Mr Scrooge and share a little of your new found wealth with those who have lost their jobs and businesses in this Pandemic and who are in desperate need of your help right now.

It saddens me that the level of starvation in certain parts of the World has been increasing instead of going down.

There are now places like Afghanistan that have been added to all the other places that have been on the verge of famine around the globe and as usual it's the children that are facing the brunt of these catastrophes.

It seems to me that as a species we have accepted all the death and misery that goes on around us as the norm just like a herd of buffalo that have accepted that a certain number of them are going to meet their demise due to hunger, disease, and falling prey to other animals which in our case would be inequality, lack of healthcare, and War.

But I was hoping that as intelligent and peaceful beings that we claim to be that we would have found a way to conquer inequality, lack of healthcare, and War by now.
