How many domains do you own?

How big your domain portfolio?

I start from myself: I own 10 domains.

Spent the last year doing much more selling.

My portfolio a year ago was 1100 domains. Currently my portfolio is at 540 domains.

I am very happy with my portfolio of domain names. 85% .com, 15% net, org, us., .io and a few nGTLDs.

I currently own only one domain(newbie here) mineswork.com. Don't know if it's a good domain though. Just thought it had a catchy phrase.
Also new to this community, cheers to this community! really awesome!

now 2 weeks in domaining , with 49 hand reg:xf.grin:
I will advise you to calm down if you are really new. I enter domaining in 2016, I had a total of $1000 ($750 minus commission) in less with than portfolio of less than 15 names (all handregged).

I went on handregging spree throwing. Most I later found out were useless and o let expired. Then I was f*cked over by crypto again. Now I am grinding for a 2nd chance, building up a decent portfolio little by little. So I will say "wisdom, calmness and research".

at the beginning of 2019, I had almost 150 domain names and I sold most of them. Currently, own just 37 all .com :guilty:
But I'll update my portfolio at the beginning of 2020. I do it every year and I'm so excited Only a few days to start buying & selling again :-D:-D

About 200. I am slowly dwindling down my portfolio. I would like to be in a spot where I was buying and selling premium domain names only . . . with a few flyers and hand regs:)

stop regging
and read through this forum

if you want to make money

This is good advice for a beginner, however I must observe that it's not an 100% rule. It also depends on the weapons at hand.

Out of 1.6K domains I own, about 600 are reg's. The funny thing is, those are what i'm getting most inquiries for. So there's money in that. In fact I am 100% sure I will renew those, but not so sure about the other 1k.

It really depends on the tools. I'm also a dev so I made my own keyword generators and stuff, and sifting through millions of combinations before regging any. Some niches are 99.9% taken, well, there is also the 0.1 % still waiting there to be picked by someone who has the right tools.

Checking available via domain generators you register 2 or 3 word .com domains?

And question #2: It is great register available .net domains?

Each domainer has their own style. This being said, I focus on 2-word .com domains only.

If I was considering something else, would not go for .net. Had little success with .net, if any.

Sales will tell indeed.

Regarding parking income, I don't believe in that. Way too little money.

Would rather build a website, I mean, what is so difficult to put up a cms and add 10-20 pages? Then over the course of a year you can earn significantly more via adsense if you don't have more lucrative ideas.

Not to mention that a developed domain will be much more interesting and will value more to an end customer.
