Excuse Me Rob, could you tell us about the tariffs for registering domains Forever and Resilient tariffs. How do they differ from each other? Is it possible to use these for renewal domains? Will this service be preserved when transferring domains to another registrar?

Short story:

- Forever domains: https://www.epik.com/forever/

- Resilient domains: https://www.epik.com/resilient/

The forever domain is a one-time payment to secure a domain for perpetuity. It is only offered at Epik.

The Resilient domain is a bundle of add-on services that make a domain effectively unstoppable.

Excuse Me Rob, I want to ask a reasonable question, why didn't you renew the registrar domain Forever? So you would show how it works and why pay you a few hundred dollars.

Actually it is set to Forever. It is renewed for the maximum period allowed by the registry, and then auto-renews every year on the anniversary.

The economics of Forever registrations may not make sense for a domain speculator but for someone who prefers to set it and forget it, a Forever domain is a mighty convenient thing.

For domainers, it is a decent affiliate opportunity especially when selling a domain to a retail buyer, e.g. upsell the forever renewal at checkout as affiliate.

Somewhere I saw a domain that was renewed for a hundred years and it was recorded in the registry, in my opinion it was with the NetworkSolutions.

Yes, this is good for large companies, so in order not to lose their domains, they keep them in MarkMonitor.
