Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Didn't respond on my counterbid

Last 2 months also on
VR*Webshop
VR*Feedback

Phone-based VR is officially over

https://www.theverge.com/2019/10/16...msung-oculus-gear-vr-mobile-vr-platforms-dead

I remember when i (and many people) regarded Mobile+VR one of the best domains, how things change!

I remember the hype on here about the VR+Smartphone auction, some people believing one day it will be 6 figure domain name – I never believed that, it doesn’t even make sense (what’s a Virtual Reality smartphone?), but i just started out domain investing at the time and got sucked into the hype and bid around $1,700 for that domain.

I remember even offering $4,000 for VR+Mobile, another domain that doesn’t make sense; owner should have snatched my hand off for that.

Made a few mistakes investing, just like everyone, but I dodged a bullet with those 2.

From the beginning I bet on mobilevr, in fact I have vrsmartphones dot com and many others.

It is clear that, like others, I was wrong, we must assume it and economic losses too.

This business is like that, there is nothing certain about it.

I knew from the beginning that smartphone based VR (NOT VR smartphones, whatever that is...) will never be a high quality VR experience, but obviously it was a good way to promote VR.
The future is standalone, not even PC based, and definetly not smartphone based!
That's why 2 years ago I made an offer to StandaloneVR dot com (unfortunately couldn't reach an agreement) and completely ignored all those smartphone VR shenanigans.

P.S: I like the term of "mobile" but not in the sense of a "smartphone" related term.

Standalonevr dot com is still here, there is no hurry because he leaves his home, I hope that when he arrives that day, he will do it for a reasonable offer for the quality he has.

Greetings and good luck to all

WirelessVR dot com just sold on GD for $198. Seems really cheap.

WirelessVR is what all VR will be soon enough.
Better to try something that will hold the damages of times

You know we’re getting there, when Quest is being advertised on prime World Series air time.

I agree the market is pretty slow right now. I've got a bunch of domains listed from $495 to $1495 and thought many of them would sell fast. Granted, I'm not promoting them as much as I could/should be. But even with that in mind, I am surprised.

Is it only my feeling or could we say this applies not only to VR domains but to most of the domain market currently?

Microsoft To Help Enterprises Mint Their Own Ethereum Tokens

The software giant, which was among the first to accept bitcoin for payment, has created a mint for issuing a wide range of crypto assets.

Several companies, including a video game outfit and a virtual reality platform, have already used the mint.
