Every now and then we all buy domain names that we end up regret buying. So this thread was created to let everyone share their experiences so that others can learn from.

List atleast 1 Domain name that turned out to be the worst or just because you like how it ryhmes u keeping it.

Mine is : WeFixForYou.com (bought it because I like the sound of it, but dont expect getting a sales from it)

When I was a cool, rebellious kid back in the late 90's I bought antigovernmnent.com - well, that's what I thought I'd bought, but being a terrible speller I actually bought antigoverment.com - to make matters worse it was my dad that pointed it out. Boy did I feel like a twat.

Mine is one I thought of when we were clearing out some baby clothes that were never used and still got the tags on.
UnUsedBabyClothes
// Com

Seemed like a good idea at the time 🤪

2020MakeAmericaHateAgain

I hand-reg a few 2020 names for both conservatives and liberals in the U.S. I sold all except this one. I think people misunderstood the name and thought I was about hate and didn't want anything to do with it. If true, actually it was meant for liberals: Trump's 2020 campaign slogan is Make America Great Again and the name is 100% satire. The name was not good and I must not have explained it well. Oh well.

Makes good sense to emphasize the baby clothes are actually brand new (most people would appreciate that). All the time people buy their baby clothes that didn't work out. Also people give baby clothes that don't work out. I think it's a good idea. Maybe your presentation could have used tweaking (?) You could market it to retail baby stores and give them the idea to resell "UnUsed Baby Clothes".

To be honest, the first thing I did on seeing the combination of LENT and BIZ is chuckle. I was thinking the combination of business with holy, sacred was funny. On second thought, maybe you bought it to show how businesses make money from lent, if that's the case. Interesting.

I was —still a neophyte much to learn; “lent.com is mills!” “So why would not reflect positive .biz outlook?!

Lent.com webpage played role in buying Lent.biz

.biz kept lower lower... Thanks! Appreciate the insights,
I agree awkward mix “Lent” “biz”, but checkout com,
That guy has same Lent.com page since 2013.
Was hoping after someone gets denied, inquire .biz

Yeah usually people have hatred/show hatred but would not want any "hate" words associated with them especially on a domain name. 😅

I'm glad I searched "domain regrets" before making my own thread to vent about buying godotyourself dot com.

I thought it was clever, but perhaps it was dropping for a reason.

Holllywood.tm

Yes, three “L”s. nd, yes, dot tm

Sigh.... got a little excited and didn’t proofread. Almost 20 years ago? Fully 20 years ago? Quite some time ago. Have had a couple since that got renewed (more than once even before noticing!) that also had an extraneous double letter.
Urk. Or should I say Urrrk?
