We researched top 100 brands this year and found 11 of the were 5 letters. The names are :
Apple
Intel
Cisco
Adobe
Gucci
Baidu
Shell
Chase
Fedex
Haier
Lowes
Since an 11% is quite a good performance. Many other companies like Tesla, Viber, canva... have also chosen 5 Letter words for their brand names so any beginner domain name investor make the 5L.com more appealing.
All 4L.coms are reserved, so logically many assume 5L.com could be the next big thing. But there is a one big problem for its being a first choice.
In order to find the interest of the Namepros community, last week, we ran a thread to see how many 5l.coms People had. There were some decent interests and quite an amusing result. We collected over 1000 names. Maybe that’s what we could do with our ENZNI.com a 5 L.com domain we registered a year ago.
Simply put, There are 375 million domains registered so far and mathematics has a tool to compute the the total possibility of all 5l.coms which is about 12 million. This number is quite ridiculous. Hardly there could be tens of thousands of 5L.com s registered till now.
Just as there are interest in the investors community, there is certainly some interest in the end customer starting out a new brand and trying to find a catchy name for his brand. But he has a choice, and the choice could be in millions of catchy 5L.com
The world runs on the principle of economics, Price is a factor of demand and supply. The supply of 5L is just too much now, and with the new gtlds and cctlds the supply market has gone even larger thus eliminating the chances of big 5l.com trades
