for me, I pay for efty.com and pay for hootsuite to post on various social media platforms. I'm working on a podcast, and am interested what other costs domainers have besides the obvious (registration/purchases/transfers/renewals). I'd love to hear your feedback and will include it on the pod if you are ok with me using your username (if not, that's ok too!)

If you really want to make the next step I will ask how many domains you own. There are certain things which you can benefit form if you are committed. Eg hosting and SEMrush as once you start parking you will start hosting either own development or parking. What niche are your domains are they similar? I would think you should start with something like epik if you have no game plan. Looking for some free tools visit traffic.tools or see sig.

for me, i'm pretty okay with the paid tools that I use right now. Do you use any paid tools?

TBH not a lot as I don't need any tools to help me buy I can think up gems all day long. I use things like discount club but I have no need to filter out expired names or go though lists I know exactly what I want. I spend money on other things like buying second hand or my start ups.

a newbie, really shouldn't have any other costs, until they've started to see some returns from those basic expenditures.

there is so much one can utilize for free, and it only costs you some time.

imo...
