How did you get SH to approve a name at that price?

The highest price I have ever been able to get approved is about $2,400.

Most of the time they will only accept a price less that 2K.

I was going to ask same question.

I'm not sure about that, there are no measure of which domain have better quality than others on this. I have a lot good names rejected but they accepted Voxxoo (.co) which I didn't expected. Just thought maybe sometimes its depend how close you are with them or something else.

As I have posted before, my best and fastest sales at SH have been names that were

rejected when first submitted, and approved when I asked for a review.

To ascertain your point..submit a one word dictionary name.

I went in high. I have quite a few valued high but I am confused that they reject the absolute best ones.

I think they want names that have no history. In any case the customer got the name they wanted.

About $70K total

$48K in Premium listings. Then I have some premium that are accepted and awaiting my approval but I want more than 8K for one of them so I am still thinking about it.

I have had one word dictionary names that have been rejected.

I honestly believe they flip a coin at SH if they don't counter the price.

That sound odd to me.

Is 3,000 considered a good quantity? Or less?

As you're aware that now I'm residing in Malaysia and solely based on domain income so the answer in short is YES. But the thing is one needs to have matching quality as well at the same time. Since every domain is different/unique so cannot judge but I personally consider that having good quality of 3,000 domains can make the living fairly possible in any part of the world.

Had no sales at all for a month (September)... but October brought back some momentum:

tenet dot co ... $5000

BIN via Afternic
Handreg ($10) in Nov 2017

algebra dot co ... $3250
Inbound offer via DomainAgents
Purchased ($500) in Mar 2015

e2i dot co ... $2500
BIN via Afternic
Handreg ($3) in Aug 2019

i3d dot co ... $1495
BIN via DAN lander
Handreg ($9) in Apr 2018

2030 dot co ... $1000
MakeOffer via DAN lander
Handreg ($9) in Apr 2018

- Portfolio size now around 1100 domains, of which 90% are .CO
- Renewal costs are approx $19k/year

Nice sales, congrats! Just curious, do you do outbound or list them on aftermarket or are they all inbound? Whats your avg monthly sale count? Its really impressive you’ve running your entire show on .co.

Thank you! Pretty much all inbound - either Dan.com lander, Afternic or via email inquiry.
I think I average about 3 or 4 sales a month at the moment.

Nice sell any strategy to register it.

1.Read namepros as much as you can and learn from it.
2. update yourself with whats trending which niche or keywords or tlds by checking NP report sales thread (this one) namebio (uniregistry sedo flippa etc sales included or even new platforms like daaZ ), brandable marketplace sales ( from their groups at slack and here) and other domain investment blogs and news. Must also see whats selling at different auction platforms like godaddy, namejet, dropcatch etc and at what price.
3. buy domains backed up with good research, use google. there are also some tools though i dont use any. and price your domains right, its very important specially for the handregs. try to understand end user.
4. check for any promo offers if any and make the best use of it.
5. like any other business to work must give proper time and focus to it. try to not rush and go slowly and steadily with full clarity.
