statsinfinity.com keeping outdated whois records, hurting client reputation.

My client had a domain registered years ago and let it expire about 4/5 years ago.
Statsinfinity.com is keeping old WHOIS records archived that show up in search engines and, in this case is potentially damaging the reputation of my client who doesn't want to be associated with this expired domain.

The client has contacted statsinfinity.com about this issue but they simply do not respond. I thought about registering the domain with privacy in the hopes that the whois records will be updated as such but of course there are no guarantees. I also contacted ICANN but they can't help.

I am looking for another solution, has anyone a suggestion please?

Hire some Russian hackers to "force" updates? B-)

@RU thanks.
@bobbarato, lol, yeah may be a last resort solution

Regardless, I think its not ok to publish false personal information on the net while not willing to correct it or charge money to remove it.

Most of the times it suc*s but sometimes, rarely, it could give you some kind of advantages.

Few time ago i've received an email regarding a domain name i've sold for low $xxx two months earlier. They instantly came up with an offer of high $xxx for it.
I clearly stated i didn't own the domain anymore but willing to broker the purchase for them since i knew the new owner.
I know i was just lucky, because they somehow trusted in me completely and after some negotiations they even sent me the entire amount (in the $1,xxx range) through wire transfer and then i transferred it to the seller through Escrow (high $xxx range).

Basically it was like i've sold that domain twice, and all because somewhere over the web, the WHOIS informations weren't updated.

Looks like the WHOIS data is now removed from statsinfinity. Quite happy about it.
Google result still showing a cached version of the page but that will only be a matter of time to change.

Thanks for the support guys.

Hey Loko,

How did you end up getting your WHOIS data removed from statsinfinity? I'm in a similar situation and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joey

Hey Loko,

How did you end up getting your WHOIS data removed from statsinfinity?..

I had both written support and used their removal page.

They can be reached at [email protected]. Took a while but eventually they did reply.
The removal page can be found here: http://www.statsinfinity.com/remove.php

Unfortunately, outdated whois record keeping is only part of the problem, Search engine's cache is keeping page snippets for a while.

Hey, I have the same issue of the domain name I owned like 5 years ago.

The thing is that statsinfinity.com seems to be down for me for months now, I can't access the website.

I tried different vpn servers and tried emailing to support @ statsinfinity . com, but the email is returned with delivery error.

Downforeveryoneorjustme.com report the website is down as well.

Are they down for good and the google will update cache at some point?
