Yes, the lack of historical education is disgraceful, though that's obvious from reading many posts in this thread.

Lastly, Watergate is not as important as you think it was in the grand scheme of history. Far worse scandals are covered up regularly now. And it was almost a half century ago. If I asked you during the Watergate scandal what you knew about the Teapot Dome scandal (roughly 50 years previous), I doubt you could have told me much.

I am grateful that I did learn something from one of your and Joanlytend of Arc posts here (besides....oh, never mind), though I had to Google it. Never heard of a Waldorf salad. Can't believe people eat crap like this:
