I have not been on the Namepros for more than a year and a half (19 months), so I want to say Hello to everyone again!

...and I want to share my biggest sale so far.

These sales actually took place more than seven months ago, but still this year.

March 1, 2019 is one of the luckiest days of my life.
I sold two of my domains in one day (both are my biggest sales so far) to completely different buyers, from different countries, through different domain marketplaces for $63,000 USD in total.
All inbound sales. My portfolio at that time contained about 400 domains, 98% of them new gTLDs.

-------------------------------

Domain: New.Work
Price: $38,000 USD
Venue: Uniregistry (BIN)
Commission: $3,800

Hand reg. this domain in 2016 + two renewals of $220
The buyer is: Big german software company with revenue more than 100 Million euros in 2018.
The buyer bought domain for the BIN price without any prior negotiations.

-------------------------------

Domain: All.Life
Price: $25,000 USD
Venue: Afternic
Commission: $4000

Got this domain on the first day of general availability in 2015 for $45, plus 3 renewals for $36
Received an automatic price request email from Afternic (the domain had a minimum bid price of $500),
later I got email from Afternic broker. I replied - $25,000 BIN.
The buyer paid the BIN price without any negotiations.
The buyer is: French multi billion dollar corporation, and one of the largest hotel chains in the world, number one in Europe.

Being exactly 4 years in the domain business at that time, I made two of my biggest sales in 4 years on the same day.

March 1, 2019 - Spring has begun! I have never sold any domains for $xx.xxx either before or after that time.

So... you wake up - sell one domain for $38,000... get ready to go to bed - sell another domain for $25,000!
I want it every day! ))) And I wish you the same!!!

These sales are also the highest aftermarket sales in both domain extensions .work and .life that have ever been reported.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Bob I have to say you are a champion investigator !

If true, congratulations, but I am highly skeptical as first of all both domains mentioned are currently both resolving with no SSL which is questionable 7 months after someone paid such top money and doesn't secure their site, but more alarming is that both domains have not been updated on or near march 1st 2019 to be exact all.life registered on 07-01-2015 updated 06-20-2019 and does Not Resolve to a web page!

Most of Namepros users just write about their sales without any evidence of this!
Because this is a well-established domainers community who should trust each other.

Of course, if someone just signed up today, with one-two forum posts, and said that he/she sold the domain for $50,000...

There may be some questions (!)

I submitted a bunch of screenshots, because even to myself it’s hard to believe that this can happen.

There are many of domain markets employees on this forum who can see these sales on their
websites including heads of sales and CEOs of this market places / registrars .
Do you think it's so easy!?

I know that such sales are very rare, and sometimes it’s hard to believe.

But miracles happen from time to time! :)

By the way if you search on Afternic for all.life it does show a prior sale at >$25,000 in the list of comparator sales. This is further proof for those who feel unconvinced. I had meant to include that in my earlier post, but here is a screenshot. That does not prove of course necessarily this sale, but it does prove someone sold it on Afternic for more than $25k. It is a simple check any of us can do without cost.

@Domaining500

I didn't sign any NDAs, and I think that buyers also don't care...

So... ask them! Why?! :)

You doesn't need to explain nothing. You have explained everything on your first post, even with screenshots, and that's why there are five pages of people congratulating you for your sales.

If there is someone that still does not believe your sales, that's his problem.

It is very clear that your sales are legit. One of them is already reported, as you can see at the Bob Hawkes screenshot.

If nobody have responded to the guy doubting about the sales, is just because nobody of us wanted to lose our time with him.

Congratulations again for your sales!

I believe the several month month long delay for Whois to update after the sales was an issue (I never checked it myself but that is what I have read).

Delayed whois updates have always raised a red flag, especially since it was said Mike Mann and DomainMarket.com sold Cryptoworld.com for a staggering $195,000 in Jan 2018 (a widely reported sale including being in dnjournal.com and published everywhere else).

As of today, almost 2 years after that big sale there's been no updates to Whois since Feb 2018 with Whois still showing NS1.DOMAIN-IS-4-SALE-AT-DOMAINMARKET.COM and name resolves to a domainmarket.com landing page  O_o
