The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The To Be Released (TBR) .CA Results & Leftovers for October 16 have been served:

This week’s .CA TBR list increased slightly for the fifth week in a row, with a big uptick in the number of single-words, but unfortunately there was no real increase in terms of overall domain quality. We did move up slightly from 71 to 80 selections, with some of the notable Top 10 picks being...

Now Showing Domain Omen III!

P.S. The craziest thing this week was perennial doormat Namespro.ca bursting up into 5th to snag the premium SLK.CA. :xf.eek:

17/80 were plurals. Doesn't that go against what we are all taught?

Many of these picks are just downright crazy, plural or not, and I gave up a long time ago on trying to figure this stuff out.

$3k,$10k for a 3L. i have a handful of 3Ls and they can have any of them for less than $3k. heck they can have any of my names for less than that. everything from Allot to Zha! actually i don't have any that start with f,m,n,q,v or x. yet.

As I state in each and every TBR Picks List:

Lower-end LLLs usually translate into having very limited uses in the smaller-scale Canadian business market. Remember, quality truly matters in the .CA marketplace and in general, one premium 3-letter will always be a sounder long-term investment than a set of lower-end LLL domains.

Question....
Maybe I'm wrong, but weren't all LLL.ca's taken/registered at the beginning of this year (or late last year)? Anybody remember?

with the exception of rxs all of the 3L leftovers from the oct. 16 tbr are still available. and i'm guessing quite a few others.

I don't think all of them were ever registered, but way back when, someone did make a stab at registering a huge chunk of the leftovers, then dropped them all back a year later and gave up.

Sorry I didn't properly explain....
Expireddomains.net shows that there are currently 291 LLL.ca's available. I'm just wondering if there have always been this many available, or if people have dumped all these over the last year? I remember thinking that essentially all LLL.ca's were taken in December 2018 (but maybe that was before i discovered expireddomains.net).

Ah ok thanks. I guess there aren't so many LLL.ca's left/available when you consider how many different LLL combinations there are in total (i.e. 17,576). In other words, only 291 of the 17,576 LLL combinations remain available for registration. Is that fair to say/think (minus domains that are restricted by CIRA)?

As long as I can remember, every time there is a discount deal ($1.00 etc) there is a shortage right after of LLL's then a year later, there plenty available...

Pretty sure, that a few were bought recently...

Oh for sure, and I bought a few of the less-smelly ones like LQE.CA.

Hey guys/gals. I know .CAs are somewhat of a hard sell here on NPs but i wanted to ask where you think is the best place to list them to get the best exposure (here on NPs). I've been listing my .CA's under the ccTLD section but I'm wondering if i'd be better off listing them under "make offer" or elsewhere (i.e. where there's a bigger audience). Any thoughts/suggestions?

ps: ENA.ca and Wig.ca are now showing on Namebio :)

@cabotower I meant where to list .CAs for sale on Namepros itself.
In any event, thanks for sharing! That's good to know. What does "nb" stand for (where you sold 100 .ca's)?

"Make A Offer" is also a simple " landing page"....make sure to use the "hashtag" option (#.ca deals etc)

Also forum signature is a great place to have domains for sale, sale pages etc (make sure to read the rules)..

Just my thoughts..

Awesome thank you! What's forum signature? I'm still somewhat of a newbie here and can't figure it out. Do you mean include a signature in my profile with a link, which will then take people to another place where my portfolio can be viewed?

Only thing is if you are on mobile, you can't see signatures. And only signed in members can see signatures..

Every time you post, your signature will be shown at the bottom of your posting..

I recently accidentally found out that if you turn your phone sideways, you can see your signature and other signatures. :)

I am having issues with Namespro.

I am trying to add a verification code via txt record to multiple domains i have registered there. I cannot see a way to do this, when i talked with support ( multiple times ) they say since my domains DNS is pointed to efty.com I have to add the txt record from efty's end??

This is confusing as i have domains registered at multiple other registrars and and all the DNS point to efty.com and i have no problem adding a txt record via the registrars dns management area.

is this a case of not all registrars are created equally? or am i missing something.

thanx Dan
