Two of the biggest domain sales ever at $49.7 million (2010) and $35 million (2007).

What would VacationRentals.com and CarInsurance.com sell for 2019?

We hear of more premium single words sales 2019 and shorter the better but not many long domains for big money, so interested to hear how people value VacationRentals.com and CarInsurance.com today.

Are they still valued what they sold for back in the day or do you value you them more than what they sold for or less?

CarInsurance.com sold as a business. It's value definitely increased.

VacationRentals.com was a hyped up buy, sold by a Forbes associate...the buyer was misinformed about rival company buying it. Clearly Fixed up sale, the name worth much less imo... value decreased

The Google algo changes have hurt exact match domain values. Not drastically, but it definitely didn't help.

For the domain by itself (no associated business, customers or assets), the value has dropped for both, no question.

Too long for the phone generation, value hinged on old school Google search algorithms that no longer exist, and in general these look like "yo' Daddy's domains".
