The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Despite that fact im living here, I dont like .ca domains, cant sell any of my owned .ca domains so Ieting them to expire, lost about $600 on registrations.
Will be nice to see at least any 5 figure sale reports here if they are exit, to see how things is going on now with .ca domains.

List them here before they expire, you might get some offers.

Agreed list them here, and put a link, and maybe you can recover some funds instead of letting them delete. It is a slow go, for sure, you really have to deal in ultra premium if you want to accelerate such offers.

I've said this before, but you need to treat .CA like the top 10% of the .COM market, and even then it can be a tough slog.

Thank you for the support in the CIRA elections, unfortunately I didn't get in this year... Next year, I'll try to start working things a little bit earlier.

Too bad, but thanks for giving it a shot.

Wow, looks like a dead zone here, and this week has been so zany for me that I haven't had a lot of time for the site or the TBR.

Expect a TBR report, but it certainly won't be my best (you can laugh at the ones I missed all week), especially with the crapload of plurals, alt-spellings, and misspellings that popped up this week.

Who can tell me what a Trogon is? A Grackle? And Laquer or Lacquer? It even gets me mixed up sometimes.

The To Be Released (TBR) Weekly .CA Picks for October 9 are online:

The .CA numbers have increased slightly, but due to no mass exodus of LLLs taking place, the overall quality level has dropped a bit this week. Even so, there seemed to be enough quality to go around, with at least one true premium LLL, and the Top Picks List features domains like...

Quick, Quick, Quick!

Wow, looks like a dead zone here,

This thread is always dead on non-TBR days. I'm guilty of it myself as I hardly post on other days (but I do check multiple times a day)

Just wanted to thank you AGAIN @DomainRecap for doing what you do

Thanks, and time is just getting tougher and tougher to find - I can't imagine when I'm back out shoveling the driveway at 5:30AM...

BTW, what does everyone think of CERTAIN.CA?

I almost put it on the Top Picks list, but I felt I had too many already.

It's brandable in my eyes.

I have a free domain that is out of my comfort zone

4sex.ca

Expiry 2020-02-08 at godaddy but I won't push so it guarantees that it gets renewed at least 1 year.

It's a great domain but I don't do adult names, and if I drop it myid will snatch it up.

First person to post claim wins it.

The reason I don't push domains I give away is from the last batch of 10 .com's 3 did not get renewed and there would have been other members who would have taken them.

Too many people post claim, ask for a push and then don't renew.

A old school finish for furniture

I know, I just meant that with both of them on the list, I had to do a double-take to make sure which one was the correct spelling. I was sure it included a "C", but not enough to save me the Google search.

Anyone pick up anything good this time?

I got my bottom two:
Blazed.ca
BTCTrader.ca

Nah, I got jacked based on another CIRA/Registrar screwup. I was going hard for IAG.CA and WKS.CA, the latter of which failed to drop, and it totally screwed up my bid ordering and I lost the rest, including one I really wanted. Had I known the domains that were going to be pushed to next week, I could have easily done a better job with my bids.

Funny thing is, IAG.CA failed to drop last week and totally screwed up my TBR ranking as well.

I wish the CIRA would get their crap together and publish a list of domains that will actually drop.

The To Be Released (TBR) .CA Results & Leftovers for October 9 are here:

This week’s .CA TBR list increased slightly for the fourth week in a row, but we had no mass infusion of 3-letter domains to prop the actual TBR pick numbers. It was a also a big drop from 106 to only 71 selections, with an interesting mix in the Top 10 featuring...

Come and Get It!
