How much popular are these keywords? Words like voila, croissant, etc, yes, they will have value. Without refering the domains, it's hard to say if they are valuable or not.

I have a handful of good french domains like:

jeunes // dot // org
pleinairs // dot // com
collectionduchef // dot // com
nomsdomaines // dot // com
sante // dot // co

A couple of inquiries, but no sales .. although admittedly I don't have enough volume to really comment on overall demand (super majority of my domains are English). But most certainly the demand isn't close to the same level as English domains.

voila, croissant, etc
While those are technically French .. their scope go far beyond just the French market. Both are also used in English and I'd say much more valuable than typical even high-usage French words that don't cross over into English usage.

it depends on the name, and the French market is not hot yet :)

I sold a french keyword .info for 3K, and .biz for 1K many years ago. Also sold two more french .info's, but don't remember their prices, probably mid-high 3 figures each.
English versions would be 5 to 50 times more expensive.

Hopefully some top French domainers will weigh in. There have been a few decent French .tv sales, I sold Oui.tv years ago and I know Jeu.tv sold for $50,000 and Jeux.tv sold for $9,469.

I'll then cross my fingers :)
