That said, this is an appraisal thread, so really the goal here is to get a sense of value these days from the community.

Its worth at least $1000. Maybe a lot more since going.com is a search engine owned by AOL.

That is funny. Never really looked at the .com for Going. The original reason it was acquired was because we also had Going.Me, which seemed so singular and thus Going.Us was something I liked.

Really appreciate your bringing that one to my attention. Going.Com actually brought up better results than Google for the one search I did on the site... okay, just noticed they are powered by Bing, so that makes some sense. Interestingly, I suspect AOL has several of these kinds of sites... just noticed they also operate the same search under the WOW.com brand name.

Not a whole lot and those I have were, well, not in a range that would be worth considering. I am considering developing it as an index of US based manufacturers - part of a larger plan.

We shall see, but it will fund the larger plan one way or another.
