I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

Unless you are a super fan, more headache than upside.

Nah, the times I pick up the best stuff is on weeks packed with premiums, where there aren't enough Registrar Connections for the amount of domains available, and you have Top 10 picks any other week going in the 30's and 40's.
Well, I was around when LLL coms were available and try to find one today at a reasonable price (note reasonable is the operative word)...pretty sure same will happen to LLL ca's. I have faith, long term faith in the extension!

Vast majority I don't. I put .ca's up there with net/org/com. Was a fan of info, until the floodgates open, glad I got out of them ($wise) when I did..

Do love the TBR..

Nice list to research..

Hey, I once owned an LL.COM (I registered it for a site not as an investment) and although I sold it for a LOT, it's still not close to what's going on today.

The difference is of course, that .COM is a world-wide TLD and with populations mushrooming in some countries, the demand never seems to end.

But once the new gTLD meltdown really hits (it's currently building) then fresh money will definitely flow back in.

Sweet..LL com, trying not to drool..lol
Closest, that I got in that extension was N-N's..(not as liquid as other short characters)..did own a N--N com, bought cause of real rarity but dropped..so rare that "no one" heard of double hyphenated (back to back)..

As far as I am concerned any one can own a com...ca's are more exclusives.

Of course, I better start practicing more than I "preach"..lol

I was in school then, so I didn't have a lot of $$$ so I was far more interested in developing sites than amassing a pile of LL domains - I understood early the benefit of a shorter domain, but at that point I think they were like $90 US a year for a .COM (as well as ongoing "host it or lose it" threats from Registrars - hosting was crazy expensive then), which was enough to keep me very honest.

Rebel has a $1 .CA Sale going on, up to 25 domains per account.

Caught up on my backlog just now, though a few of the primo ones had already been taken.

No idea, as I couldn't find anything on the site to do with the promo, and only noticed it through this:

https://tld-list.com/tld/ca

Rebel used to run a .CA specific site, but now it's all amalgamated on .COM with the same ultra-lame front page for the last few years. I think their web design team got fired.

I received an email from Rebel about it. It ends on the 30th of this month.

It's hardly a premium, but LQE.CA for a buck is pretty good in my book.

I noticed on the DAN blockchain ticker of current sales last night that G r e e n V o i c e .ca (not my domain name) just sold. Be interesting to see if it is for election related use, or something else environmental. Nice name. Parked as of this morning.

Also interesting in that on some site visitation stats that almost 5% of recent visitors to DAN have been from Canada. Anyone sell many .ca there?

Nope, and the only "foot traffic" I see there is for my .COM listings - I think DAN traffic is directly linked to click-through traffic, as opposed to venues like GD/Afternic or Sedo, where I get visitor clicks regardless of whether I forward the domain there or not.

For the Rebel promotion does anyone know if you need to register them all in one go, or if you can get up to the number over a few sessions within their time window?

Anytime, any day, Rebel just keeps a counter on the number of times you used the promo until September 30.

And if you're new to Rebel, be sure to call support and ask to take "Auto-Renew" off so that you're not renewed like 45 days before it expires. Other than that crazy a$$ feature (which cannot be disabled by the user), Rebel is pretty cool and easy to work with.
