Hi All,
We know, one registrant has launch great discount for registering new '.best' (dot best).
My knowledge is very limited about this extension. But I have tried to register some new names. Such as:

cap.best
bat.best
ham.best
dew.best
nap.best
tan.best
yap.best
night.best
morning.best

So What are yours?
And, Anyone can help me (or us) to explain how about the future prospects of this extension (dot best) for global market?

Thank you...

Looks that your parking platform has a very weak botfiltering..

From what I have experienced on other extensions over the years they have a very good filter.

When I asked my parking provider how 20k visits could possibly get an incredibly low and hard to believe 37 clicks they informed me they have reasons to suspect my .best hits are most all fake traffic coming via bots and spiders disguised by using something called an 'Amazon AWS Headless Chrome Browser' so the IP addresses cannot be seen and sent to my .best names by.......................

i have my .best mainly on DAN (not quite all). The number of bot subtracted visits to them are modest, usually from a few a month to a few dozen a month, and none over 100 per month. This is not much different from my other new, country code and legacy domains in terms of visits. I don't do monetized parking, so have nothing to comment on re click rate other than the following thought I have....

We all know that Google does thematic search now so that for example searches on guaranteed best and best guaranteed without quotes yield very similar number of search results. This is even though to an English speaker one is a much more common phrasing. Because best is a widely used descriptor, many things combine with best yield a high number of search results (like 800 million plus for the above term). In my simple minded way, I thought that was a good thing, showing that the term is a meaningful and popular one. But there is also a downside, there are hundreds of millions of web pages you are competing against for traffic and that is a negative.

i may well be thinking wrong about this, as I have never looked deeply into SEO, parking, traffic and so on. Just thought I would share. I have a few other thoughts re best, but thought I would share just this much for now.

Forget about Google...
It doesn't generate any significant traffic to the domains which were never developed in the past.

Only: typo/ type-in/backlinks = TRAFFIC.

P.S. I forgot to show my latest .best stats:

21,300 visits year to date
clicks 38
click thru rate 0.180% (that's not a misprint)
total PPC revenue year to date: $13.

1 inquiry with a $20 offer
zero sales

I have a few .best first names:
Michele
Tina
Katie
Anne
Sue
Tracy
Jackie

These are priced to sell fast ($2-300). According to Dan.com there have been 40 visits on these 7 names in the last 10 days, so I'm optimistic :)

Good luck but keep in mind by comparison I had 21,300 visits without a sale :( and 1 inquiry ($20)

I already said above...
Without GoDaddy promotion - chances to get inquiries are extremely low...

so how do we do promotion on Godaddy?

Registry must do it... using GoDaddy main page...
Currently it is not just hidden but even price at GoDaddy is $30.17

And that's why just ~36K domains are registered.
Because GoDaddy is out of the game.

All other registrars don't matter at all...
Because most US/CA endusers are using GD...

1.2M+ .online domains and almost the same situation - very rare inquiries...
So what you expect from nTLD with ~36K taken domains???

Must be at least ~200K domains to get some stable aftermarket results...

I know you can already pre-register but does someone know the date of the official launch of The.Best social network? I am hoping that may spur some sales through greater exposure of the extension.

I bet on GoDaddy...
The most effective method proven for years... and you can feel it in your pocket...
Other ways are good but gain from them is little...
