The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. This was one of those weeks that gives everyone something to cheer about. Yes, the .coms enjoyed their usual dominance, taking the top three spots on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Domain Sales Chart (and 15 of 20 places overall), but the ccTLDs also excelled, putting two domains in the first five (and taking four places overall) and the non .com gTLD's got into the act with a new gTLD that not only reached this week's top ten, but also ranks among the year's 10 biggest sales to date in the non. com gTLD category. You can get all of the details here: https://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2019/20190925.htm

Cherry on the top, three awesome .in made it to the list.

Thanks for your post, @Ron Jackson - always great reading each week. Like you say, something for everyone to celebrate in this one!

I will be interested to see who the end user is for LifeForce - a great name that could be used in many different ways.

Red(.tv) and Jot(.co) are both outstanding names and nice to see them go for great prices.

I found the sale of Smart(.bio) at more than $27k interesting not only because it is one of the highest-value .bio sales ever, but also because I suspect that it will be used by a company that is into smart nanoscale devices. I think it is not yet well known in the domain community, but there is an emerging Internet of Nanoscale Things that will particularly impact health applications where bionano agents can sense, adjust dose, and smart deliver in just the right place. Perhaps this name has nothing to do with that, as .bio domains are also used in biographical and other senses, but the name would be outstanding for a startup or reference site in that area. I may write more on this in some other thread at some time.

Thanks again for all of the work that you put into these each week.

Bob

Thanks for sharing :)
Congratulations for the sellers & buyers.

LifeForce.com is a great domain.
I believe that it was sold a bit cheaply.
I think this domain can be worth $150K-200K for an end user.

LifeForce is a great name indeed....I'd strongly consider the .com as a brand.

I may even know an end user in this niche that'd have paid the $150k + price

Life force is qi (chi) !!!!
