Hi guys...

Let's play a small game. There are 3 questions each of us answer:

1) What is your best domain?
2) How much do you think it is worth?
3) Why do you think it would fetch you that amount?

The idea here is to remove the biases that we all have towards the domain name that we own.
I have been overly optimistic about many of the domain names that I owned, and that gives a false picture when we approach an end user or an end user approaches us. Ultimately, we end up losing a sale which could have fetched up, say mid xxx to low xxxx or maybe more.

So yeah, lets go ahead! Be a sport! Participate! And let's learn together!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Honestly I'm happy to let the one site get acquired and keep the other as a parent site or potentially transition it to sports betting. I have two potential buyers for basketball site based on high level of twitter reach and high income niche of fans in basketball analytics. I'm in no hurry to sell either so will gladly wait for the right number.
Well if they get even close close them and find a better project. Use that money to buy better again.

Both of mine are websites and not just domains. Wibbets.com has potential to be used as a betting or tech site also similar in name to an existing company. Would not take less than 10k for it. Basketballrehab.com current basketball blog has a couple major media companies monitoring it as a acquisition target. Probably would need at least 20 k to be tempted.

I did not think of a fully developed site one.

I have top 48K Alexa ranked site that I wouldn't sell below mid 6 figures.

aze/az

I am planning to make it top 10K site in the world within a year.

Godaddy appraisal tool is useless.
As to your domain, it is a nice one word .com that can receive low-mid $xx,xxx end user offers.
It is worth less than activate.com due to the "ing".

good luck! :)

toptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptoptop.top
- highest possible number (21) of "top" in a domain (without the TLD)
- highest possible number of characters (63) in a domain (without the TLD)
- highest possible TLD (".top")

#2
It worths more than any other domain name and more than all other domain names togetherrr
- more than ttt... ...tttop.top / tooo... ...ooop.top / toppp... ...ppp.top
- more than google.com / amazon.com / apple.com / microsoft.com / facebook.com /... / abc.xyz
- more than all these and all other domain names together

#3
Because it has this valueee
- it is untoppable (it is only "toppable" with subdomains - but to reach the highest possible number of "top" in a domain name that includes subdomains, you need this domain name)
- UHNWIs are permanently searching for ways how they can spend / invest their wealth
- it is the highest art / virtual status symbol and it is only created to
(try to) buy it / own it sell it
Oh...No, You should have (20) of "top" plus ".top" making them 21 total, that would be perfect 21!:banghead:

1. VReal (in king)
2. 6 figures (if/when VR takes off)
3. It's the shortest abbreviation for Virtual Reality, apart from VR, and could be used for all types of VR businesses/applications.

Of course :) anything is worth what someone is willing to pay. However, I’ve already had an offer so I know what 1 organisation is willing to pay.

I don’t know how much you paid for ARTokens.com but you must think it’s worth more than eMoneyTokens.com. I wouldn’t even put ARTokens.com in the same room as eMoneyTokens.com as it’s an official regulated Cryptoasset category as stated by one of, if not ‘the’ worlds leading financial regulator (the FCA).

All I would say is ask me again what it’s worth some time after the 31st October when the U.K free from the clutches of Brussels and the Financial Capitol of the World is free to do business with any Cryptoasset centric business it chooses.

I do consider a few of my domains to be worth 6 figures USD for end users.
Though I don't think that many here will share the same thought when reading the list.
I currently don't own a domain with very high liquid value or a clear high end user value, like game.com etc.
So no point in posting here.
However, it is nice reading this discussion, some really good domains were mentioned here.
Let's keep this discussion active with more posts :)

SmartContracted
AuthorityNode
SmartContractFund
SpentPay
SMSFCoin
DPOSCoin
eMasternode
TheCryptoasset

All .com. I imagine somewhere between $20 - $50,000
It's very difficult to break the $15,000 mark, maybe 1-3 a year do it for keywords, with 1-2 recorded.

Oh, I forgot Enronn. 60 Billion plus the letter N haha

MediDrone dotorg - $XXXXX
We can dream right? ;)

But I do like this domain as I can see drones being utilised quite heavily in the future to bring blood/defibs/drugs/online doctors etc to situations/disasters where they are required.

Contender #2 for me would be HQHerb dotcom. Value? Not much right now, but I would love to start a company that sells only high quality marijuana.

I have MediDapp and am not sure because of the word 'Medi.' Great domain
name by the way, can see it doing very well. Definate hold if the word 'Medi' is cool.

There are threads here in NamePros that go over TM's. A lot of them in fact. But it's convoluted...
Startups like
CryptoOracle appear out of nowhere when that word is Trademarked as much as Intel is. Anyway.

Holding.Company | worth more than + $x,xxx,xxx to $xx,xxx,xxx .
Hi
I think your other names are more valuable, for example B.Company, etc. in your signature line. I think they could be pretty sought after by the right company once these new extensions gain popularity.

That is, not the registry, but who in regards to who the company is. Which companies are issuing eMoneyTokens through an exchange or business platform?

This is huge and needs much more regulatory clarity, but right now, stablecoins, fiat-backed coins, are generally classed as eMoney.

To name a few companies

Coinbase = USD Coin,
TrustToken = True USD +
  • TrueGBP, for the British pound
  • TrueAUD, for the Australian dollar
  • TrueCAD, for the Canadian dollar
  • TrueHKD, for the Hong Kong dollar
  • TrueSGD, for Singaporean dollar
Bitspark = sparkdex.HKD and peg.PHP
Rate3 = Singapore dollar-backed SGDR
Tether Limited = Tether
Paxos Trust Company = PAX token
Monerium = ISKe
Gemini Trust = Gemini Dollar
MakerDAO project = DAI

Stasis Foundation = Stasis Eurs
BitShares = BitUSD
UnionBank = PHX

I’ve only scratched the surface, big hitting payment Services like Paypal, Visa and Mastercard are all rumoured to be close to releasing their own very soon.
