@Brandbucket
I just want to know if the name submitted by everyone is like this?
Even if you are rejected, do you still have to wait 15 days or more?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Could a BB's staff member answer questions?

All is manual as a bot can't help them. Might have been a busy week.

Recently, I submitted 20 names and they were in pending review since 15 days, So I sent an email to them and they responded that there is no particular timeframe to approve names.

Now It’s been 25 days and yesterday I got email that 9 names are rejected and others are still in pending review.

I am very sorry to hear this news, but I will be like you.I think they might be more efficient if they add some regular filtering before manual review.

There were tons of suggestions in recent years for BB, but nothing has changed. They don’t want to change name review process.

I believe they like to work on there own terms in name selection process and not open to feedback or make process faster in anyway.

Rejects usually come in first so if you have pending names from the same date, it's highly likely that they're accepted.

Or due to volumes they are extra stringent.

Currently it's take 25 days to 30 days to review the submitted name. So be patience.

Well, from the point of view of market demand, BDM(Brand Domain Market) is a good trend, just like Squadhelp,Brandpa, etc.
It's not related to your questions. You asked the wait time and I replied.

Now it's seem you had some intention while asking. Pumping a your own marketplace.

Thank you for your kind reminder, I just said what I just thought of, I will delete it now.

I just judged from time: the number of supply side far exceeds the demand side, so I said that. Now let's get back to the topic, I still have to wait 10-15 days.

I spoke to someone on the phone earlier this week and pending reviews. She explained that they are super backlogged right now, so approvals are taking longer than usual.

A good problem to have, for them. We'll just have to remain patient.

Same here, submitted a few domains 2-3 weeks ago, still pending. I e-mailed them and they mentioned the same thing, they're backlogged. I think the ship has sailed with brandbucket, marketplace is too saturated now.

All five of my domains got rejected. I think BB still holds a good reputation as they are way too conservatinve on accepting names. If you get a name accepted by them, it's worth it.

That's a good sign. I've seen other posts on the forum where BB is literally accepting any. Judging by the massive queue, it looks like it's getting a bit saturated. We'll see, I'm still waiting for mine to be accepted.

I have noticed another trend with them, correct me if I'm wrong. Most of the recently accepted names have been priced higher than one would anticipate. I am not saying the names are not worth the tag but similar names have been priced lower earlier. For example, UNFRIEND.LY is priced at $9995 USD whereas names like MARVELOUS.LY DISCREET.LY are below $3500. UNFRIEND.LY was in the list of "new names on BrnadBucket" as at Sep 23, 2019,

Crazy, a month later, I'm still waiting for bb to look at them.

I guess I spoke to soon or put something out in the universe, because they just reviewed my names. I'm actually quite surprised. They accepted 5/16 names.
The valuations were actually very interesting. The highest valued domain (40-50K) is one of my weakest domains and I was actually going to drop it this week as it's up for renewal. The others which were accepted, the valuations are acceptable, except for one which I believe is undervalued so I may not list it with them. How accurate are their valuations with others on the site? Either I suck at valuating domains, or they do :) I guess time will tell..

Congratulations mate. I have submitted four more and this will be my final shot. Hoping for the best.
