What is the best place to transfer premium .co domains?

Do you guys give any extra weight to names that are premium at renewal time?

Following are some of the premium .co names that are expiring soon, what is your opinion about following names? Worth the full renewal price? ($24 at namesilo and $35 at godaddy )

l a v a l a m p.co
p e t h o t e l.co
f e n u g r e e k .co
f a c e w a s h.co
r e s p i r a t o r.co

Any other places which give better pricing for transfers of premium .co's ?

I bulk registered a bunch of .co domains last year for 99 cents each.
I need suggestions if I should renew any domain from the expiring lot.

This doesn't say anything. This : There are a lot of comineded words, words with "i" in front, or "the" and a lot of domains have expired recent days and a month ago (so they'll come free, but lots of the good ones will get 125 USD as new registrationprice since what happpened a year ago.
And not all of the droppers will be renewed.
If you know that at a certain week 6.000 domains dropped from 3 registrars together, then this is not very convincing.

Hi. Anyone notice strange LLL.co activity on GD expiry auctions right now? By my count there are 5 up for auction right now and they are all right around $300 each. It looks like an early bidding war between two bidders. I own a few LLL.co and I didn't know the wholesale value was this high again. Is this about the wholesale price now? If so, I wonder if this is due to lack of available names - I don't see much inventory dropping or in pre-release at SN or NJ. Or maybe this is an anomaly with these two bidders (bots?) going at it. Thanks.

They'll probably get taken by the registry before they change hands. That's what I've experienced.

Clawed back while being registered? They'll become premium when they drop for sure but they won't actually drop in this case right?

Anyway, $300 for a 3l .co ain't bad.

Something like that, I'm really not sure what the game is. They will be 'premium' already but I've experienced them just not dropping and staying with the registry. My experience is with gdn.co.

I won at Godaddy, it passed the date that I should have received the name, I contacted them and they said it was no longer available.
It stayed with Name.com saying that it was expired and that the registrant could renew. It remained like that for a year.
Then it turned into a premium "go.co" parking 'buy now' page for a short period about a month ago.
It turned back to a parked "Renew now" page again and has stayed like that since...

http://gdn.co/

I've tried contacting the registry but no response...

I wonder if @Joe Styler could shed more light on this. I have emailed Godaddy again about this because it's not right to sell the name and then it just to sit there not renewed but to be told it's "no longer available" but no reason why. I'd like to know what has happened to this name which means that I can't have it after winning it at Godaddy Auctions when it is an 'expired domain' listing. Thanks for your help if you can.

Nice domain. It shows for me that it never actually dropped and has been registered since 2010, currently owned by namefind.

I'm not really invested that much in .co so I'm not 100% up to speed on their expiration/deletion policy but you're right. That's a strange turn of events if the owner didn't renew it.

I like .co but I read so many weird things from investors about issues + the fact they mark about anything even remotely decent as a premium. I'm not playing the .co game unless the opportunity is too good to pass on.

Yes, it is strange, it was listed as owned by NameFind when I won the expired domain auction on 28 August 2018 (last year) when I won the auction. I have had the domain name under monitoring since then. The name went from 'autorenewperiod' to seemingly renewed in July 2019. Nearly a year later! If they had renewed it before I got the name, then it would have changed status long before 10 months after the auction took place.

I too like .co names and it is a bit of a minefield. It doesn't feel good or 'safe' to be invested the space because the names get taken, they've been converted to premium. It's made a lot of people lose trust in them and I can't blame them.

Hey guys I need your help. I can list on Afternic. My .CO domains however do not show on Auctions.GoDaddy.com. Basically it feeds to MLS but not GoDaddy Auctions which I can test manually. Name.com they show. Auctions they do not. I have contacted GoDaddy support with emails and incidents back and forth for over a week. They keep rehashing the old:

"Tier 1...certain TLDs with variable pricing can only be listed if the renewal amount is priced at the base tier or non-premium level."

And we know that the .CO policy is one renewal fee regardless of upfront price paid per the registry published policy: https://www.go.co/faqs/premium-domains/

At this point I feel like I am being unfairly singled out. I've done nothing but 'help' the registry here on NP. GoDaddy deserves any criticism because they pull stunts like this, more than just once.

I can see hugely premium domains listed on GoDaddy Auctions like v.co, w.co, oil.co, six.co, etc (not mine). They get to list but I don't?

Can you all verify your best domains are listed on Auctions.GoDaddy.com please.

@Joe Styler if you are there please take a look at Incident ID: 40008281 and follow the responses to similar tickets. This doesn't make any sense. Why do others get to list but I can't?

Because others were grandfathered in. So if you listed the domain prior to the registry changing the domain tiers you are fine as long as you keep the domain listed. If you try and list a new domain listing you cannot.
We may in the future change this but if we do it will not be until next year at the earliest. .Co has an upfront premium price with a regular i.e. base tier renewal. That makes it somewhat easier to implement the code changes but it is not an easy or simple change on our side.
