GoDaddy Bumping Up The Price

In the DG domain auction, I see a domain for $8...

It even tells me to go to cart and buy it for $8.

When I click that link and go to the cart, GD always bumps up the price by adding extra stuff on.

I suppose they're adding taxes and renewal fees etc...

Is there a way to get it for as close to $8 as possible?
May if I wait a few days until it comes out of auction, would that make the price cheaper?

Are auction prices always bumped up like this?

At GoDaddy you pay the auction price, in this case the closeout price $8 plus the renewal price. They are not bumping anything, it's always been that way.

Does it get cheaper than that after the auction if left unsold?

Yes, It's close out price in addition to new registeration price not an additional cost.
