In this thread, I will give you my opinion about your submitted new gTLD domain name.

I will focus not only on its numerical appraisal, but also will take other factors into consideration (mainly renewal fee and what you do with the name, where it is presented, etc), to debate whether it is a good investment choice (in my opinion). Just because I am a new gTLD investor it does not mean that I will give good opinion on crappy names - so I will tell you when I see no value or potential. To see examples of new gTLD domain names I personally invest in, you can check my website www.brands.international.

Rules:
1. Only 1 new gTLD domain name can be submitted daily per 1 Namepros user.
2. This thread is related to new gTLD domain names only - I can not give you my opinion about .com, .net, org or ccTLD names like .de or .co.uk names, as I do not have enough direct experience with them.
3. I am not responsible for any damages related to my advice - it is only my personal opinion, although I will really try my best to give reasonable, and well-balanced opinion.
4. You can submit only domain name you personally own.
5. For security and privacy purposes, all names submitted and discussed in replies must be in
keyword(s) / gTLD extension format (for example royal / estate, or bestgames / online)
6. Comments/opinions/appraisals from other members on any name submitted here are very welcome :)

@lolwarrior Not sure if you are doing 1 app per person or not, but do you mind sharing your thoughts on connect//financial?
@thevictor about your domain name connect / financial - quick google search shows tons of suitable end users with horrible, long legacy domain names - many of them would welcome your domain name as great upgrade (it is basically exact name of their brand).
Good thing is that those companies are in various different countries, so you do not depend only on 1 or 2 endusers.

Can you connect with them and effectively sell them the name ? Then it can be sale which range anywhere betwee 2k - 5k imo with STR 1%. If you price your name at 1k, I think you are basically bound to sell it very quickly, considering how bad those domain names which some of those companies operates atm are. You can also sell it for 15k imo, but that can take some years and some skill/luck and you budgeting for renewals. Name has standard renewal for .financial which is around $40 at many registrars. If you do a little bit of effort, it can pay out nicely, imo.

If you just let it parked with Make Offer passively, math will probably, not hold up much, as I would feel your projected yearly profit is less then $20 - $50 in that case, while your fixed holding cost is $40.

Nice name, GL :)

I have an idea about this one, but super interested about your opinion.

Your(...)Career

Renewal at $100 / year
@Alexej K about your name your / career - it is a great new gTLD name. There are some extensions where some specific keywords like "my", "your", "go", and few others make especially a very good sense, and this is one of them. Someone can certainly build very nice global brand on it in future.

I have similar name in my portolio, but with .vacations, and I have great expectations for it as well :) It just goes well together.

There are only very few semantic alternatives in new gTLD space to your name, which is great.

Now, the renewal is not small here, but it is justified with the quality of the domain name imo. It really depends on you, how and when you will sell this domain name - if you can work directly with end users, it should be minimum 10k imo. But if someone would report this name as sold in 50k - 100k in years to come, I would also not be surprised much.

I can not really guesstimate STRs for those higher price ranges, as this is simply type of name where you yourself affect STRs a lot. If you do not know what you are doing, and you will accept first 2k offer which might come in 2 or 5 years, then this will be your result.

But you can also work actively with end users via social networks like LInkedin, or Facebook, and you might have very different results.

Anyway, I think this should be at least 10k name in 2019 with STR 1%, and maybe much more (but with STRs going down sharply), but that "much more" certainly depends on who you are, and how you work with your domain names, how seriously will end users take you when you interact with them, etc.

If "only" 10k with STR 1%, than it is so-so investment imo, as you projected yearly profit is $100, while your fixed holding costs is also $100.

Nice name, GL :)

Could you please appraise BitcoinAndroid / com ?
Domainindex shows $3500 and i'm not sure how accurate it is.
Let me know your thoughts.
@AmarKumar88 Welcome to the forum! As for your name, I would like to be more helpful, but BitcoinAndroid / com is not new gTLD domain name, and this is purely new gTLD thread. But if you have some new gTLD domain names, please feel free to put them here, I will certainly have a look :) Thank you.

Hey, thanks for doing this!

Tournaments / Stream

I was going to use this for a game tournament stream but we ended up going with a more brandable .com domain.
@Alvie regarding your name Tournaments / Stream - it kind of goes well together, but I would prefer singular which is better imo (and also have much larger google search volume). That singular is available to be registered at the moment of writing, with premium renewal around $680 / year at many registrars. This can definitely give some sense of maximum of what would be eventually possible to get for your name.

But I think more relevant here is the lower boundary: it is unfortunatelly not difficult to notice that at the moment of writing, we can get (slighly semantically different) domain names tournaments / site, tournaments / website or tournaments / today for less then USD 5 (check for example uniregistry.com for keyword "tournaments".

So I would then conclude this: in (imo not very probable) case, that we would have end user who REALLY NEEDS to have his domain name in .stream and will NOT take any alternatives to .stream, they can still reg better version of your keyword (which is singular), although with higher premium renewal attached to it. But in (very probable case), which is when someone would want to have something with keyword "tournaments", they can get tons of available alternatives in new gTLD space, without any aftermarket hasse, for few USD.

This does not leave much possibilities for your domain name - well, because there is some semantic connection between the keyword and .stream (which is not the same as between this keyword and .today, for example), maybe someone can pay 400-1k for it, but with pretty low probability (again, this is due to the fact that it is much easier to pay $0,9 - discounted price for first year at uniregistry.com for .website - and get something like tournaments / website instead).

So it is what it is, I would not have high expectations here. GL :)

Thanks again for this :) I really appreciate it. I'm new to domaining (basically due to this domain) and was interested in what I could get for it. Seeing as this is my first foray into it, I'm probably going to try to get rid of it at a bit more than the reg fees.

Out of curiosity, what platform is best (if there is such a thing) for selling gTLD domains in your opinion?

You are very welcome. List at as many platforms as possible, more visibility = better chance of sale.

I personally use now Dan and Afternic (domain platforms) and mainly LinkedIn (B2B venue).
For sure it is great to include another platforms like Sedo or Epik as well.
GL :)

Thanks, I've been using Dan also but will look into the others. Interestingly, one of my domains is on AfterNic but I didn't put it there and it's not a price that I am selling at. It's only been about a day since I registered it also

Most likely, it is because the previous owner didn't renew it and didn't remove it from their Afternic profile. You can email customer service and ask them to remove it so you can relist.
